The quality and services offered by the hotel were excellent.The breakfast selection was varied and wholesome.The restaurant and bar facilities are of high quality.The hotel is very pleasantly located in a tranquil park.The only problem with the hotel location is that it takes forty minutes to walk to the centre of Bruges old town, which we found ok but to some could be unacceptable. The hotel we’re very helpful and spoke exceptional English, the Restaurant staff we’re also very helpful and the food was excellent and the price was good also. The hotel has free Wi-Fi which is what all hotels should offer.

Not very easy to find. It needs a bigger sign on the road!. the room has a little bit lack of cosiness. Distance to the center, but I knew that.My wife slipped in the bathtub, and it wasn't until then we saw a small sign in the bathtub door that said there was an antislip carpet inside de bedroom closet, I would suggest placing the carpet inside the bathroom in a place easy to view. It was very difficult to find and was not well sign posted. Although it is in a nice area it is a half an hour walk from the city centre.car park charging.9 euros a day is excessive. 1) Location was poor compared to city center and not accessible by bus even though tourist info desk tells you it is. The only negative was the distance from the hotel to the town centre and the slightly confusing route required to reach the hotel by road (a few more signs would help!). room was expensive, location was further from the main tourist parts of Brugge than expected. A little too far from the city for sightseeing. Hard to find if you are not travelling by car and the breakfast is quiteexpensive (17 euro) but there are no other restaurants nearby. However,the main problem is that the photo shown when we booked our room showeda much bigger room than the one we were actually given.The hotel is a bit far from the center, but buses leave every 20mins from just down the road. Definitely not worthy of the 4 stars, but it is a very nice hotel. limited space in bedroom, need tea-making facilities in room, need shampoo + conditioner etc, Need taxi vouchers for other destinations (hospital). Pillows are real bad, fitness equipment needs maintance. the gym. The gym could have newer and up graded equipment for cardio vascularwork out... I thought the price of having a kettle and coffee in your room was exhorbitant also parking very expensive, you may as well just include these in the price of the room and up the rate by 20 euros per night as these are usually standard in any hotel. breakfast again 14.00 euros so for those that only wanted a continental breakfast no discount very expensive.Bear in mind that the hotel is outside the center of Bruges and you need a car or taxi to reach the center. Only issue was the initial smell in the room when we walked in - smelled like the hotel had tried to cover up smoking in the room. It cleared after opening the window.The backside of the hotel facade needs to be cleaned (precasted concrete is dirty and visible from the restaurant). Joints between roof and walls need to be filled.

- take the E40 highway from Brussel - Oostende
- exit at junction 8 T
- follow directions to Brugge/Zeebrugge/Blankenberge (N31-E403)
- follow the N31-E403 in the direction of Brugge/Zeebrugge/Blankenberge
- after 8 km you will pass through a double-set of traffic lights
- after these lights, take the first exit on your right towards Oostende/De Haan/Brugge Sint-Pieters
- turn right and follow the N9 towards Sint-Pieters Oostendsesteenweg
- after 2 km you reach a roundabout where you go straight on towards the traffic lights
- after the traffic lights, before the bridge, turn left and follow the R30
- after 500m you have a police station on your left, after the police station turn left and follow the street Sint-Pietersgroenstraat until you reach a roundabout
- take the second exit on the roundabout onto Vaartstraat
