The hotel staff was exceptionally nice and warm. The room was the best we had throughout our tour of Europe, very clean, fresh ,beautifuly decorated. Breakfast was very nice and included with rate. Location was ideal. Right near train station and close to center of attatractions and super market. Refrigerator in room, and nice TV. Large balcony. Wireless Internet (free) and no problem parking.

Than in the New Years Day they also offered us a glass of champaign and smoked salmon for the breakfast.This is my third stay and I like the large clean secure rooms, huge bathrooms, good breakfasts room and helpful staff. Close to the u-ban and plenty of nearby facilities. I have stayed four times at Wilhelmshof Hotel and have always been very satisfied. I will most certainly return again in the near future.Excellent front of house staff. I liked Vienna but loved the Wilhelmshof. This is a traditional hotel with a friendly staff in a very quiet location, Not in the very heart of the old Wien, but not too far. Two minutes walking from the hotel you have a direct train to/from the airport (Praterstern). Good location, close to main underground lines and to the Austria International center (conference center). Slightly expensive (as most hotels in Vienna), but good value for money. I am sure that most people carry theirs anyway but it would be a nice touch -- given the comfort of these rooms.No room service at night - had to go downstairs, wait for thereceptionist to make a tea and carry it upstairs. Yes. Smoking.- Not really but a kettle in the room would be nice if one wanted some warm drinks at night. Just a little bit too hot at night but after walking all day you fall asleep in a matter of seconds.I don't think there is something i don't like about this hotel. It's very close to the subway station, there is a huge supermarket at the station, and on Sunday, when everything else is slosed , the supermarket is open and you can buy something to eat in your hotel room. Limited breakfest.Would have been handy had there been some option to have lunch and/or dinner in the hotel. not enough no-smoking areas. My only negative comments are that they weren't really able to handle the breakfast rush when they were very busy. very poor breakfast. the heating. The stairs in the front door, it makes difficult to carry the luggage inside/outside.
