Actually the hotel is perfect! There is a big supermarket spar in front of the hotel and a lot of cafes and small shops around. Metro station is 30 seconds walking and Meidlinghauptstrasse - the shopping street - is very close! Rooom is big, clean and quiet. Has a sofa))) Hosts are frienly and ready to help with everything! As for me it's one of the best places to stop in Vienna for that money! We took a special offer and it costs us 60 euro per day! Perfect! At the check-out we took the usual .
all reviews » The Hotel is situated at an excellent location. U6, underground station Niederhofstrasse is in a 3 minutes walk from the hotel and a supermarket just across the hotel's entrance . The room was big, really clean and it was tidied up by hotel staff every day. The owner was really helpful and tended to all our needs. 1) location - quiet, close to big SPAR convenient store, close to U-bahn, close to a park, close to a market with lots of places to eat 2) room - big, clean, good large beds, windows are sound proof 3) breakfast - repetitive but fresh and tasty 4) personnel - kind and helpful 5) nice old elevator, spotless clean. Very short and convenient location from the underground and the railway station Meidling. All main city attractions are accessible by the underground. There is a supermarket "Spar"right opposite the hotel. The staff is friendly, the rooms are big and clean.Recommended!!!. We liked mostly the hotel staff including Mr. Riede who was an excellent host. The breakfast was always delicious and has a good quality and diversity. It is mentioned on the website but it is easily overlooked which exactly happened to me. Despite that there is a bank round the corner where i withdrew the cash so i could pay for the hotel, i would recommend the owners to invest in the online payment facility. You have to pay for parking. We were directly across the street from construction going on at a shopping mall, which was quite noisy in the morning. The shower was hard to work. nothing. Strict police and over-efficient train ticket inspectors. Nothing!. Do not accept credit/debit cards. The did not have Kettle and tea/coffee satchel to enable make it in the comfort of room. Some rooms facing traffic noise Hot in the room (no HVAC). The breakfast spread can be a little better. there is no safety box. No air conditioning, which I did not realize till check in. There was a non-functional fan in the room and on complaining was given a different fan but it seemed more like a favor. However the biggest limitation is that no type of cards are accepted for payment. This is probably the only reason I may not go back. Overlooks a major transit bus route, so it gets a bit noisy at times, but I quickly became accustomed to it.
