The room and the executive lounge were amazing. Great location with a walking distance to most tourist attraction. I would definitely be staying there the next time I'm in Wien. Furthermore, The hotel provided a complementary coffee and refreshments for guests with early checkout time. It was a beautiful gesture. The staff were friendly. The concierge so helpful and informative. The breakfast was good and delicious. Friday singer is a must to see .. Beautiful voice and the band as well.
all reviews » The Intercontinental is conveniently located in a beautiful area adjacent to Stadtpark. The local train station is across the street. We would definitely book it again. breakfast is great.good location just opposite to the standtpark wich we can visit the statue of John Strauss.The service is also great. No free wi fi, this is not the case in most hotels world wide and in auatria itself. No Bahrain TV channel in televise. There is nothing not to like except that breakfast is very expensive and geared to well healed business types. In Lougn they should Care to put to gether nonvegetarian and vegetarian.I am pure Vegetarian and dont feel good IN Case the eatable are put to gether. That there is no proper restaurant in such hotel.Breakfast was cleared away, before I was finishes. Problems with lights in the room. so expansive for facilities. I had a reservation for 2 double club rooms, are found on floors 11, 12, 13, but I got 2 rooms on the 9th floor was a little disturbing. Very poor food assortment con the 12th floor club, I was disappointed by the lack of variation and how hard it replenishes the basic things like water, hot water for tea, etc... Most porcelain teapots were missing lids, was not sorry to be a little cleaner.. At 160EUR/night for this hotel, I don't want to pay for a simple service called internet. This is year 2013 and this hotel is still trying to make money from internet. It is a shame really. Even the simplest hotels offer it for free. It should be a right for customers to have free internet not a service they should pay. It is like tv. The room was much smaller than what we booked. The price for breakfast is very high. the room are not clean. High price for asmall room. rooms are too small. Furniture in some rooms is damaged. In the hallway the stench. Small room with normal svc n little far fm downtown. no swimming pool.
