This was a beautiful hotel, conveniently located. We had a gorgeous room with a view over the park. The staff were kind and friendly. Will definately return to this hotel. I liked the room, very large and comfortable. I also appreciated the free internet use in the business center.Everything was so excellent. They upgrade our room from standard room to excutive one for free.

Breakfast Buffett was over priced (there are some excellent street cafe's nearby doing great breakfast for less than half the hotel price). The best seats in the lounge were permanently reserved for "Lord James" who we only ever saw once using one of the eleven seats reserved for him. Very good hotel, restaurant too expensive for the offered food, but very good anyway. high price breakfast , not alot of choices in resturants. Preferably in the room for free Internet. Internet expensive. Would have liked the opportunity to see movies in our room.The prices for sundries like food and internet were hideously over the top. Yes, first night the electricity was down for 8 times. In the second night they moved us to a Junior suite near the elevator and the noise was so powerful that I couldn't sleep in the night. Bed has somebodys hair on it when we enterd the room!!???We didnt know if it was changed or not. it is just one of the chain hotel, no identity in an old city and the hotel is a bit old. overpriced and overated.

All rooms include a long desk as well as a cosy sitting area, and are facing the city. They are decorated in warm tones with traditionally-styled furnishings and feature self-regulating climate control.

According to your preferences, we offer twin rooms and double rooms with queen-size beds. Non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Travelling information

Salzburg´s main airport (Salzburg Airport-W.A.Mozart-SZG) is about 4 km west from the centre, reachable with public bus number 2 at regular intervals between Salzburg main railway station and Salzburg Airport. Journey time approx.20 minutes. The centre is also served by taxis which can be found directly in front of the Salzburg airport.

Driving directions:
Take A1 and exit “Mitte”. Follow Ignaz-Harrer-Strasse and at the first crossing after the bridge, turn right. Go under the railroad. After the next traffic light, turn left.
Another option is to make use of the hotel route system. Follow the orange signs Nr. 8 and it will take you to the Sheraton Salzburg Hotel.

The hotel does not have private parking facilities, but a parking garage directly underneath the hotel is available
