The Location and Most of all the people at the hotel that speak to you and inform you about everything. They were just wonderfull. Had answers to everything and helped in everyway.... i never heard a no.... i was always 'Yes madam" Wonderfull Customer service plus easy access to everything Thankyou :-). The staff was very friendly. They gave us a free box of chocolates upon arrival, as well as a great map of the city and answered all our questions. The room was wonderful. The beds were extremely comfortable.
all reviews » Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful in giving recommendations and spoke good english. Breakfast selection was good as well. Good choice for a good price. Everything was perfect. Cannot complain on anything. Good Location with transportation at doorstep. No smoking. No pets. Convenient for bus into Salzburg. I never heard any of my neighbors. so it was a beautiful quite apmosphier. The hotel was a 15 minute trolley bus (no 4) away from the centre of Salzburg - and the bus stopped literally right outside the front door of the Turnerwirt (Turnerstrasse stop). Turnerwirt is a lovely hotel just 5 minutes out of the city center. there is a bus stop right out side the front door and the staff are very helpful. There is also a supermarket just down the street.The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and let us know abt the eating places (when we arrived really late in hotel) plus the sight-seeing information. Room was spacious and quietly situated. Staff were very pleasant. Easy access to centre via #4 bus.Being a very busy man, I liked that it was wireless in hotel. It is a very good thing. easily accssible by car. No restaurants at a walking distance. The baths don't have any windows and that makes it a little hard to get fresh air in there. Maybe some air deodourisers would be a good idea.The wi-fi coverage didn't reach one of our rooms, but that didn't matter much because we only stayed one night. Though wireless Internet is provided in the room it kept disconnecting (both mine and my friend's computer got this problem). Asked the reception staff but they had no clue.It's a drive into the town and it's pretty closed up near this hotel at night, but parking in town is difficult. There's a good bar/cafe (Covent Garden) about a kilometer from the hotel. some rooms are too cold, some rooms are facing road and noisy. The only problem would be that there is only 1 restaurant and 1 local pub near to the hotel. The breakfast was not that good and the options were very limited for us as we are vegetarians. But my boyfriend liked the breakfast ( he eats non-veg).Room rates are good enough , breakfast should be included. No evening meal facilities and no bar area.was not very clear about where to park.
