Bathroom was also large and spotless. Staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is centrally located, 10min walk from railway station, 5 minutes walk from buses going to Kaprun and Kitzsteinhorn cable car or locally to Schmittenbahn, 5 min walk to the lake promenade and boats, restaurants and shops nearby. The restaurant has good and affordable food for an evening meal. Internet wireless worked very well.

  Made very welcome by the hosts, excellent room clean and well appointed. Breakfasts were first class and information about the area was readily available much of it given to us when we arrived.   What a charming gasthof and the hosts were just as charming. A short walk out of the village and very quiet. It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts could not do enough to help.   The incredibly friendly lady who ran the place (sorry can't remember her name!). She couldn't do enough for us and she made our stay very enjoyable. The location was good, not right in Salzburg so you needed to take public transport to get in and out, but bus 4 runs right in and the stop is only a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel.   The hotel was very good value for money. The guest kitchen facility is brilliant and really allows you to economise on food spending by making quick meals/sandwiches. The room was clean and comfortable and I was very pleased with the experience I got for the money paid. We stayed for 2 nights and travelling to city centre was very easy with the no... what people say » 2 and no.4 bus. There are timetables in the hotel for the buses and they also have a map of the city centre. Aldi and Spar and Mcdonalds are nearby at - If you do not know where to have a breakfast have it in the hotel! If you are travelling by car there is an underground parking so you do not have to worry about a parking space even if the hotel is full, and you probably will not use the car because with a SalzburgCard all buses are free! Buying a SalzburgCard is a big advantage and very good deal if you want to see most of the museums (the castle with the trolley) - just get a brochure of the SalzburgCard and you'll find out why it is a must!

  Breakfast was good to include in the cost of the room. Great coffee. Room 218 had the best surprise - our lovely balcony. We enjoyed wine and cheese and crackers and a good read each afternoon on our peaceful balcony. The bier garden had great food at fair prices. Parking was a plus. Didn't move the car while we were there as public transportation... what people say » was so convenient. The desk clerk placed our leftover picnic meat and cheese in the kitchen refrigerator until we were ready to leave. Comfortable be - Rooms were really clean and comfortable, even if one had a really small bathroom. It's a bit far from the centre of the city, but there are a lot of bus and it's easy to get everywhere.Staff really kind and great breakfast!
