  We loved the view from our room and balcony! The showers are huge and with heaps of hot water. The hotel restaurant is excellent too. You pay 10 euros for dinner which is: self service soup and salad (delicious soup and wonderful choice of salads), then a choice of two main courses, and finally dessert. We paid 2 euros each for a glass of wine.... what people say » Excellent value for money. Breakfast was self service with a wonderful selection to choose from. The hotel public areas are beautiful and there is - The hotel is beautifully perched high on a hill, providing spectacular views. It is well worth the climb to get there. My 2 nieces and I were upgraded to a family room which was larger than my apartment back home! It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and so fresh. Staff were most friendly and accommodating and I look forward to returning there one day, again, in the future.

  Comfortable, warm, spacious, clean rooms. Helpful hosts. Well placed for both Salzburg and the Salzkammergut lake district. Fairly isolated, so car essential. - The people there are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very quiet and nice. The country around is wonderful.

  Great location for hiking. On the fringes of Strobl at the base of some great day hikes. The food was hearty traditional Austrian fair. - Location. Having a balcony which had marvelous views of the mountains. Out of Strobl itself but within easy reach with a car.

  I liked the warm welcome and concern for our arrival, also the food and service was excellent, it was a family environment that made us want to stay longer even though we could not - Very friendly staff, extremely helpful with gluten free diet. Greatwalks all around and a fab. Restautant g2 in the village.

  A lovely place to stay and we felt really welcome and looked after. Great value compared to some hotels in the area. Close walking distance to everything in the town. Easy bus journeys from the square. Free acess to the pool complex was fantastic. The room was quite large with a small balcony with all facilities needed. Breakfast really good... what people say » . Free bikes were great. Wifi really good. - Mrs Angerer, the owner of the Lindenhof is really kind and ready to give always program advices. The breakfast is really good. The location is perfect to visit all the lakes in Salzkammergut.
