Very conveniently located near the railway station. The hotel was full when I stayed and I was initially allocated one of the smoking rooms, despite asking for a non-smoking. The staff were helpful and understanding and able to sort me a non-smoking room. Nice hotel with great staff, clean and good restaurant, very good value for the money. excellent place to stay if you are traveling as we did. Extra mention for the man on the bar the evening we arrived there; he did everything to please us!.
all reviews » Clean and the staff and location was great. It was however noisy and the from was hot with no way to ventilate except with an open window. So, consequently, it was noisy. The choices were being too warm or hearing all the street noises. Closeness to Station - helpful young lady on the Reception Desk - answered our questions. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on food. Only at Linz overnight,. Rooms are clean and reasonable. Location is just outside railway station. City centre is a 20 minutes walk through a shopping street. Everything was allright. Can't complain. I had a free aprking just under the hotel - it is very convenient in the center of LINZ. The desk clerk was extremely helpful, because of this I have booked a 10 day stay at one of the Munich Ibis's. 3 to 12 sept. close to main train station and to city center. vicinity to the railway station. Location Free WiFi. The hotel is budget-frienly.It is located near railway station. That is comfortable for tourists who arrive by train late at night. nothing.... There is the risk of being given a smoking room. See above. There are no restuarants nearby. Maybe the breakfast hall/room could be a bit bigger. But it didn't any influence the food quality. There was nothing to complain about. A bit noisy(probably elevator) but it's ok. Small warderobe, not enough place for our clothes. All shops closed on Sunday - 19th May and also on 20th May ; being public holiday. That there wasn't any air condition in the room I stayed in. The open window brought in a lot of noise from the streets even though I was on the fourth floor. I did see random appliances of the personnel on the hallways. No WiFi in rooms at the end of building. Breakfast too expensive. Wi-fi in room although advertised was not available. The noises from the neighbouring rooms in the evening AND at night, making it difficult to fall asleep. the room was very cold. Construction noise during whole stay. Improvements to foyer. Good for guests in the future, inconvenient for guests now. in warm weather the air conditioning was not sufficient at all, it was very hot in the room. there was only one single blanket on a double bed. noise because of renovations. small rooms, carpets in public areas need improvement. Advertises Air Conditioning, but in reality, the temperature is set by the staff for the entire floor. I was extremely warm even though I paid for ac No hand-towels in the bathroom Parking Extra 8 euro. There was permanent noice from a boiler or air conditioning or something else. It was not comfortable to stay in the room during day time. Although the noice was not very loud and I could sleep normaly.The view was on the hotel Locomotiv and that was very disapointing. And one more thing. When I arrived I found out that the toilet bowl was not clean! I called to the reception and cleaning lady cleaned it but it was disappointing! They do not respect their guests!. everything.....
