  I liked it very much. It's friendly, clean, efficiently run, and it is well positioned in a quiet locality just a stone's throw from the busy Mariahilferstrasse. Well placed for the excellent Vienna underground. - Location clean very helpful. Owner is the face that serves you. Easy directions good district. English widely spoken. - Room was totally fine, big enough and shared bathroom access was not a problem for the 4 nights I was there. An exceptionally good price made any minor bother ok. Excellent neighborhood to explore and close enough to the 1st district to walk. Try the City Bike bike sharing located a few blocks away at the Rathaus. Only 1 euro then unlimited 1 hour trips!

Helpful owner - This is very kitchish, like staying at your grandma's place. Each of the 14 rooms is appointed differently. So a fun place to stay. Plus the staff is always very, very helpful. The breakfast is hot and cold and cooked right there, it changes every day too. And of course, you are a two minute walk from the museum and Hofburg area.
