Located between the cities of Kirchberg and Kitzbühel, Sport und Familienhotel Klausen offers traditional Tyrolean hospitality, an outside pool and a wellness area with massage treatments. All rooms have rustic furniture and are equipped with a telephone, radio and a TV. The balcony provides breathtaking views over the Kitzbühler Horn and the Fleckalmbahn. In the restaurant you can enjoy homemade Tyrolean and international specialities and wide selection of Austrian wine specialties. Breakfast and half-board are available. The wellness area includes a Finnish sauna, infrared cabins, steam cabin and a relaxation room. The massages and the sunbed can be used for surcharge. In winter a ski school is located in front of the hotel, and the Fleckalmbahn Cable Car is 500 metres away which takes you to the slopes. In summer a bike obstacle course is set next to the Familienhotel Klausen.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The facilities for cycle storage and cycling were excellent. The food in the restaurant was very good. The noice from the disco on the other side of the road. Also the noice from the road was bad as long as you need to sleep with open window.

Information about the area

In winter:
Right in front of our hotel you will find a ski school, apres ski, ski rental and a slope which is very suitable for kids. Furthermore, you are only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the famous Fleckalmbahn (500 metres away), which takes you to one of the most beautiful skiing regions in Tyrol.

In summer:
The village of Kirchberg (1.5 km away) offers you numerous hiking trails into the Kitzbüheler Alpen (800 - 2.360 metres above sea level), one of the most amazing hiking regions in Austria.

All our rooms have very rustic furniture as well as a shower and toilet. Every room is equipped with a telephone, radio and TV. From your balcony you can enjoy breathtaking views out over the Kitzbühler Horn and the Fleckalmbahn.

Travelling information

Arrival by car on the A12 motorway:
- Exit at Wörgl Ost.
- Take the B171 towards Brixental, Hopfgarten, Westendorf, Brixen im Thale and Kirchberg.
- The hotel is located in the Klausen district on the right-hand side of the street.
