Location is fabulous in the old town pedestrian area overlooking the Golden Roof. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is amazing, some of the best and reaonably priced meals we've had in Europe. The location's great, just next to some famous spots. And you can easily find things to eat or shop around the place. The room is clean and it has an elevator which is not often to see in the small old hotels in Euro.

We had a good sized room on top floor with view over Goldenes Dachle and clock tower. Lovely meal in restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom are huge and great. The breakfast is excellent! The restaurant is also great (although expensive). The location is perfect!. We loved the location, the staff were wonderful both in the hotel and on the restaurant and the price which included a very good breakfast was excellent. The restaurant has lovely food. This hotel is quite literally in the very centre of the old town section of Innsbruck, completely immersed in the restaurant and shopping district. Surprisingly noise was not an issue. Wonderful large room with beautiful view. The staff is very friendly and the food is great! Innsbruck is magnificent and Hotel Happ is great! Thus we had a lovely romantic holiday!. Upgraded to the bay window suite overlooking the goldenes dachl! Great room where we saw weddings, a band, mountains... Great location with double windows and doors for quiet. The room was large. - Since it's in the center of the old town, it's really nosiy all day and especially at night. But you can close the window...hold on..there's no airconditioner or a fan in the room..so...either noisy or hot..your choice. - And the wifi really sucked..it says wifi everywhere but it only worked around the reception. Whilst it didn't bother us as I always bring earplugs, it was quite noisy due to location, especially in the early morning . The wi-fi wasn't working well (it'd be better if the bedroom had a ethernet cable) - we connected in some neighbour's wi-fi... They advertise wifi but it is almost non existent, so slow but the cafe next door has excellent wifi and for the price of a coffee you get the password and you can use their Internet from the breakfast room of the hotel Happ. The building is very old and the room a little small, but nothing to complain about really. A bit pricey but you couldn't beat the location!. The wireless didn't reach the room. During the nights in the Christmas Holidays period it is very noisy. States wi-fi throughout hotel but only actually available within two metres of reception desk. Nothing. No excursions on the recption offered. Nothing to dislike. 1) The room for our second stay on the 4th floor at the back was a large apartment but had not been refurbished for years and so was not very comfortable. 2) Both rooms, especially the second, had poor quality curtains. 3) Check-in was poor on our second visit because it is done by restaurant staff who kept us waiting. No aircondition only a fan. Delivery to shops and restaurants on the street from 6 am. Restaurant Happ, to expensive for what you get. Food to salty, A glass of wine is half a glass of wine. Because the hotel is located on the square, it can be quite loud in the rooms. No air conditioning so it is either stuffy (windows closed) or loud (windows open) when trying to sleep. Hotel is in a pedestrian zone and the parking garage nearby is quite expensive. The room decor was outdated, but it was large and clean so that made up for it.

Please call before arrival if you want the staff to assist you with your luggage. Until check-in, luggage can be deposited at the reception. After 10:30 it is not possible to drive to the hotel. Parking is possible at the Altstadtgarage, a public parking garage located at Innrain 4, which is a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. Payment is made at the hotel on departure.
