  We loved every moment of our four day stay. Elisabeth is a delight - so friendly and helpful. The room was large, extremely clean and comfortable, with a lovely deck for sitting out on sunny afternoons. The breakfast is fabulous - mostly organic foods and delicious, too. The location is perfect for exploring the Wachau and the attached restaurant ... what people say » is an absolute must! (Try the estate wines!!) - Elisabeth and Martin, the proprietors, are wonderful. The hotel is wonderfully clean and simple, the fruits and vegetables at breakfast are all grown on the property, the food is healthy and delicious, the area is peaceful and relaxing. We would go back there in a heartbeat. We got 5 star service at a fraction on the price.

Breakfast was also wonderful, with many of the items coming from the vineyard's garden or the - Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice view over the vineyards. Very helpful staff--one gentleman actually had the patience to translate each item in the German menu into English (in reasonable detail). Very good food and wine at the restaurant--they have two outdoor spaces for dining. Breakfast (included) was nice too.
