It offers a private lake access, a large sunbathing lawn, an indoor pool and an award-winning restaurant. The spacious rooms at the Seewirt are all non-smoking and have a balcony overlooking the garden. A wide range of local and international specialities is served at the hotel restaurant, which was awarded 1 toque in the Gault Millau guide. The homemade specialities can be enjoyed in the dining room or on the sun terrace. The hotel's own wine cellar features a wide range of fine wines. Hiking and cycling trails start at the doorstep. The historic town of Burghausen in Germany is only a 20-minute drive away.

Nature. Located in 100 meters from the nice and big pond. The garden and balcony flavors are perfectly mentained and add a strong feeling of staying in village. Sauna and pool look good. Very pleasant personal. A lot of detailed and useful information about surroundings and possible entertainments. Nice cuisine but "short" (closed at 9PM). The Hotel does not fully correspond its advertisement. Furniture is a bit old. Old bathroom facilities. No electrical outlets by working desk or nearby. Some of hotel facilities are quite old par ex the only Solarium bed is about 20 years old (no glasses provided). SPA is absolutely empty (no personal) no massage beds.

Travelling information

By car:
From Salzburg highway exit Salzburg Nord in direction Braunau ind round about 2nd exit direction Bergheim, Braunau on the B 156 federal road direction Braunau. 3km after the village of Lamprechtshausen left direction to Holzöstersee lake (8km).
From Linz on the A 8 motorway direction Passau. Exit Ort im Innkreis, B 148 federal road direction Braunau, then on the B 156 federal road direction Salzburg. In Gunderstshausen round about first exit direction Holzösterrsee lake (12km).
From Burghausen/Germany towards Ostermiething. From there it is only 8 km to Holzöster. Our house is locate in the village center.

by train:
In Salzburg change to train (Lokalbahn) to Lamprechtshausen (every half-hour). We offer pick-up service to/from the train station - just call us in advance.

by plane:
Salzburg airport. Taxi to the train station and by train to Lamprechtshausen. Taxi service can be ordered from the hotel.
