It is vey well located for anyone who likes to go to the Bowls Club or Twin Towns. The shopping centre is almost directly across the road and many restaurants are within walking distance. For families the ground floor rooms are ideal, as adults can see their children in the pool from their rooms. Lovely clean spacious room and fittings also one of the rare family rooms available for 5. Traffic was not a problem. Motel is soo handy to everything you need. We walked to all. Pool looked good but the weather stopped us using it. We recommend this motel to all and would definitely return.

We were very happy with the accommodation it served our purpose, the location was good as it was close to everything that we were down in tweed to attend for the two nights. Nothing negative to say about the accommodation. Good value for $$. Clean ,comfortable, well contained eminities etc , tea coffee microwave , spacious next to shopping centre lots of eating places ...our room was next to pool , but weather not good for swimming. Wonderful setup. Excellent service lots to watch on fox channels. I spoke to Pam personally and told her how much we enjoyed our stay and that we would recommend it to anyone. It was close to where we needed to be for the Netball Championships & there were plenty of eateries close by. Very comfortable. This was a great place to stay. Everything was neat and tidy. The owners were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great. Very close to beach, playground, supermarkets and restaurants. Everything we needed was in walking distance. We found this motel to be very clean and functional. We were Travelling with our older children and our room was very spacious and had all necessary utensils, plates etc so was perfect. Close to the beach and shopping. The Proprietors are just the best, so friendly, always a smile for everyone, always willing to go that extra mile for Guests. I would highly recommend to Everyone. It was very convienent to all facilities and Mark and Pam couldn't have been more helpful, it was close to Coolangatta beach 5 min walk highly recommended for those who want a budget price not motel. That it was central to everything & close to the bowl which was our main purpose of been at Tweed Heads. Large room with firm bed with small table & 2 chairs and a sofa. Maybe needs an external covered area when it rains!. It was raining. Rain protection whilst climbing rear stairs would have been of value. Could not find any faults at Tweed Central. N/A. Shower temp difficult to sustain but not really a problem. The tiled floor was a bit cold, a rug or piece of carpet by the bed would have been nice. Also only 1 bedside table for a double bed was a bit inconvenient. There was nothing to dislike about the motel. I appreciate the owners are new and from what I am told the motel is a lot better than before. I would stay there again. Nothing. nothing. There was nothing I didn't like about Tweed Central & I would stay there again. No movie channels on foxtell. Heavy smoking outside other rooms - couldn't avoid the smell. Nothing. Lighting not great for reading but okay. It would be good to have a sink so that we could wash up. not much. Nothing. would have liked an iron. Needs an extra mirror outside the bathroom. Nothing particularly.
