  The staff were so friendly and the family room we had was excellent. We will book a family room again next time we have to stay in Townsville. The boys want to come back in summer and try out the pool/spa. THANK YOU. - Large room for all the family and reasonable price.

  They were nice the room was good and the food was good. We have always stayed at expensive hotels in Townsville, but we will stay at the colonial rose in future. - The service. Emma, you were brilliant! The food was top quality The room was soundproof.

  I like that it had a pool and was close to shops and take away. I stayed with 2 children and the fact that I didn't have to be in and out of a car all the time we could just walk to get food or to Stocklands was good. - Friendly staff Easy access to the hospitals. Clean and tidy facility.

  Sonia and Dean were most helpful and really treated us as individually important - they were so helpful and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping impeccable. Meals were Great and always served on time. Nothing was too much trouble.   The staff were excellent. They were warm, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they were keen to give information on things to do, restaurants etc. The location was close to the city centre and only a couple of minutes drive from the beach, markets, restaurant strip etc. Would definitely recommend this B&B as being convenie... what people say » nt, comfortable, friendly and good value. - A very nice place to stay. The old house is very charming and gives you a sense of what B&B is all about. Iva and Russell are very kind and helpful in all respects. It is just a 10 minute walk away from Palmer Street and another 10 minute drive from Castle Hill look out. The breakfast is delicious, offering very good coffee (!), fresh fruits, cerials, toast and premium marmelade.
