The very pleasant staff / manager The bush surrounds. Close to Town without the hussle and bussle. Private outdoor area. Comfortable bed Quite, despite being virtually on the H'way. Very friendly service. With roadworks on highway at front we were located in a room at rear away from noise. Price - reasonable for the standard of motel. Old but clean and all you need for a night over on business.
all reviews » It was off the highway so very quiet and the room we were in had a lovely leafy outlook. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and cosy. Great size family room that was so quite. Kids enjoyed the pool. Good service and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. It is in a fabulous location, quiet but near everything. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Big Room Comfortable beds. Was a verry nice stay. It was clean and close to where we were going. the view and the fact we get a bottle of water. Position, quiet, relaxing. Location tidy and clean. The grounds of the Hotel are kept well,lots of bird life,lovely tall trees. It had a roof and walls oh and a blanket. Nothing. Need a more descriptive map on the web site. Initially, was difficult to find - especially for a "bush person". Once found - easy to remember how to get back there. Very big ants, lizards and toads. The reversed hot/cold taps in the shower which caused a nasty scald which fortunately wasn't worse but had it been a child or an older person could have been disastrous. Towels were too thin and worn - quite rough on skin. Need more power points in room. Bad Foxtel reception. Would realy of liked a bath for my 2 children. There was only a shower. It advertised an onsite restaurant and bar but they are closed. customer service was not that great. Untidy garden areas, part of hair dryer missing, no shampoo in container. Bed was poor quality and inner springs noisy. Sound proofing between units was poor. The big lady at the front desk is not friendly,pool not clean. I booked an executive queen suite.Which I believed had a bath from their website. I got a rather run-down queen room plus a single bed. A rather tired shower and no bath. Paint work crumbling. Really,rather shabby. Maybe 2.5 star. Thought I was booking 4.5 star. Not a good experience, room service advertised but was not available. Called reception several times no answer. Had to walk around to reception which the sign in the window said open until 8:00pm but was closed at 6:00pm. Used phone located out side reception still no answer, called land line, no answer. Worst service ever, owners did not apologise just made excuses. Will never stay there again. The receptionist was very unwelcoming.Bath room,toilet was very unclean.I Will not stay here again. Soiled Bath towels. Very Basic Rooms Untidy surrounds Management not interested Suggest you remove it from you list. i book this hotel 3 days ago and i have booking no and after i arrive to toowoomba abut 11pm i knock on the door and thy did not open the door for me and i spend the night sleeping in the front sit in my car thank you i will never book this hotel.
