The location was good and easy walking distance to CBD. Room was spacious and quiet and AC kept room cool on a very hot day. Iron and ironing board and an under cabinet refrigerator. Staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. The room was huge, updated, clean & fitting for a quick business trip. I don't need the extras & don't want to pay for extras on this occasion.

The receptionist gave us maps to find our way around and suggested things for us to do around the area. Location. Walking distance to main part of town. Restaurant meals are good. A large window has views of a vacant park. Staff very friendly, answered my questions without any problems. Good location, good food in the restaurant. Customer service on check in was outstanding! Rooms where nice and clean, and close to the main street. Service from the staff was excellent will stay there again nice and close to every thing. the rooms were very good, the motel was booked out yet it was very quiet and very clean. Clean simple rooms. Good tv reception. Good having a fridge and tea making facilities. Friendliness of staff at reception and in the dining room. Good dinner and breakfast. I was impressed with the staff and the breakfast was perfect to start the day. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable, good location to peel st. Location was fine for us. Food good value. The good was beautiful the did put mash instead of roast potatoes with the meal in which it stated roasted on menu, this as only an issue as my collegue can't have dairy . Parking. fair location. I have a perception of IBIS hotels from Europe, and this one didn't quite meet my expectations. However, I would stay there again. The bathroom needed an update. There was an entryway into the reception area, but I wouldn't call it a lobby. We had a group of bikies who warmed their engines for a long while, outside our room. Harleys are very loud. Sorry to be grumpy. Sheets were badly stained. Although they were clean, this is not good for a hotel to be using stained sheets. The hotel staff fixed this issue the next day, as I arrived late at night and they had no spare sheets. There wasn't very good ventilation in the bathroom which caused the whole bathroom to fog up while in the shower which in turn caused the bathroom to have a mouldy ceiling. Bathrooms especially need repainting, cobwebs , mould on ceiling. Housekeeping very late, I stayed 2 nights, housekeeping arrived to clean at 1350hrs, I was laying down, I just asked for clean towels. Would of liked a microwave to lower earring out costs. i can't remember anything that i could complain about. The smell of the cleaning product used was overpowering. I liked it all. Nothing bad!. We could here the showers from some of the other rooms. The older interior and furnishings did not reflect the high standard associated with the IBIS reputation that I have enjoyed. Shower gel empty. Nothing. Close to traffic, can hear the cars at night. The small television and noisy outdoor air conditioner. Wife didn't like the mattress, but I found it quite comfortable. Wi Fi Connection was very weak and I couldn't hold a connection. Nothing. morning sickness. Free WiFi is a fable. Could not connect from our room and when told you have to connect at reception room and failed as well, asked staff who advised that wifi is not reliable. Not good enough. Bathroom floor not level. Bed not comfortable. When we mentioned this, staff advised bed was taken out of service from the refurbished rooms into the room we were in. Towels/washers have reached the use by date. For the cost of 1 nights stay and breakfast I was able to obtain 3 nights stay (without breakfast) at another motel nearby. This 2nd motel was of similar standard for cleanliness and comfort. I also had a much larger room. Too expensive for what you got ($150/night). Bathroom was really cold, no heating, windows permanently open. Bathroom was old style, but functional. Accommodation had unacceptable plant noise. Staff could not find our booking initially. Were exceptionally friendly and persistent in solving the problem."including Breakfast"?? Credit charge surcharge? Never mentioned before charged. rooms are old and tired, also quite noisy in relation to the road and people staying around you. noisy and very modest for this money. Extremely expensive , not good value for money along with poor service at reception. Total lack of communication with staff. On our booking it states continental breakfast included, we were told at reception it was not, the next morning we were told 1 breakfast was included, next morning I was told my room which was booked at the same time on the same visa card did not include any breakfasts. We all ended up paying different amounts and still don't know why. Staff were pleasant but all had a different version. I have stayed twice at this Motel and both times I was upset with having booked a room with breakfast only to find that if I wanted a real breakfast I had to pay more. This made me feel like a second class citizen at the time and I noticed others had the same reaction when told on entering the restaurant. The room was very dated and fixtures in bathroom very shoddy. Carpet was really worn round bathroom. We booked over Internet and I thought it was quite misleading. A one night stay only, not the 4 nights. Very noisy, school children banging and crashing all night.. Making it a very unhappy stay.. morning staff not interested in my comments on the night before. The price for what you got with the rooms was terrible, the rooms were dated beds very old just not what you expect in an Ibis hotel. The breakfast inclusing with continental breakfast supplying to room is a rip off and not worth. Ibis should provide eat in facility at the resturant whether it is continenetal or not and should review its advertising policy re. bed and breakfast. Bedding very uncomfortable (pillows, mattress), strange smell lingered in the room from arriving to departing. Needs refurb Menu - very old fashioned. It was shabby and outdated. An expensive room for what it was. Felt like a budget hotel. very old in need of makeover,bed and pillows hard and not worth the money paid. food and coffee, breakfast, road noise. toilet leaked,soap holders empty,very noisy from outside motel i.e. trucks and next door i.e. coughing all night, kettle broken,ridiculously expensive for what it was. Definitely not up to Ibis standard.
