  I loved the close proximity to the city. The train station was a short 15 minute walk and the staff were very good at offering advise on how to get there. I liked the pool facility but thought the pool environment was not very attractive- a bit like a gym and I think it should look more resorty. The gym facility was very good. The internet access was exc - There was little I didn't like actually. Nothing to fault meriton on at all except the noise from neighbouring developments. It was a fairly long sort of walk to shops but in saying that, it's good exercise & the area is still under development so it was a small inconvenience that was easily overlooked. I can only say that I preferred my stay at the danks street Meriton a little more simply because they have split level apartments that I absolutely loved! I love Meriton so much, I'm now lo

  Everything about the Park Royal Darling Harbour was excellent. The location, the venue itself, but most of all the staff. My wife had a medical emergency during our stay and the assistance provided by all the staff we encountered was absolutely "second to none" even though it all unfolded during the middle of the night. For our purpose which was Entertainment Centre concerts ( Carlos Santana, Robert Plant and the Tedeschi Trucks Band at the Enmore theatre it was ideal. Access to all points of Darling Harbour, Fish Markets, Circular Quay, The Rocks, China Town, QVB shopping ,The Apple Shop, ABC Shop, Broadway and the Park Royal all central to it. The Museums well I could go on but I will have to stop.

  Location was a very short walk to the beautiful Bondi beach - two grocery stores a few shops away- stocked our wonderful new kitchen. Spotless - large comfy bed and pull out was great as well for our daughter - room dividers pulled to make two rooms. Everything was top rate. Very happy there. Would go back anytime - staff was excellent!!!!!!! ... what people say » - The apartments were very luxurious. With this and the gym, pool and spa you could spend all day there. However only a 5min walk to Bondi beach and cafes. The 1st night we stayed the people in the neighbouring apartment were very noisy. The staff were brilliant about and the next night moved us and upgraded us for free.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Meriton in Kent Street very much. It is nicer and cleaner than a similar priced apartment hotel nearby that we had previously stayed in. The hotel - We were really happy with the apartments. We stayed in a studio- it was a good size with contemporary decor and furnishings and view to the street. It had thoughtful touches like a coffee plunger, and complimentary dishwasing tablets and clothes washing machine liquid. The staff were great - the concierge noticed we were exhausted after catching an overnight flight and (without being asked) arranged for a room cleaned so we cleaned so we could check in early.   Stayed there 3 nights the reception staff were so helpful the rooms were of a decent size beds were so comfy would recommend a stay there to anyone we will be back in 2 years time !!! - Location was good, it was far enough away from the Cross that there wasn't too much noise around. Danks Street is a great location just far enough from the city to escape the hustle bustle and enjoy some boutique shopping and delicious food. That being said, on our 1st taxi ride from downtown area, we were a bit nervous about the area. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that the neighborhood was an area which was in the process of being upgraded and our immediate area was all done and people living all around the hotel area.   At last Sydney has a hotel connected to the International terminal for overnight stays when international connections are the next day. Sound proofing is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. I had dinner in the restaurant and the food and wine list were surprisingly good. Would stay again on my next trip thru Sydney. - The convenience of the hotel to both international and domestic airports is fantastic. We were delayed a day by a cancelled flight due to a typhoon in Hong Kong, and the staff changed our booking without fuss, and were extremely helpful re our flight home, which also had been changed. I thought the room was very cleverly designed, with powerpoints, mirrors etc well placed. Extremely appropriate for an overnight stay in between flights.
