We had a very good dinner at a lively Italian restaurant down the street. Lovely walk through the Botanic Gardens to get to the bridge, Opera House, Circular Quay.

  I loved the close proximity to the city. The train station was a short 15 minute walk and the staff were very good at offering advise on how to get there. I liked the pool facility but thought the pool environment was not very attractive- a bit like a gym and I think it should look more resorty. The gym facility was very good. The internet access was exc - There was little I didn't like actually. Nothing to fault meriton on at all except the noise from neighbouring developments. It was a fairly long sort of walk to shops but in saying that, it's good exercise & the area is still under development so it was a small inconvenience that was easily overlooked. I can only say that I preferred my stay at the danks street Meriton a little more simply because they have split level apartments that I absolutely loved! I love Meriton so much, I'm now lo

  Everything about the Park Royal Darling Harbour was excellent. The location, the venue itself, but most of all the staff. My wife had a medical emergency during our stay and the assistance provided by all the staff we encountered was absolutely "second to none" even though it all unfolded during the middle of the night. Access to all points of Darling Harbour, Fish Markets, Circular Quay, The Rocks, China Town, QVB shopping ,The Apple Shop, ABC Shop, Broadway and the Park Royal all central to it.   We enjoyed our stay at the Meriton in Kent Street very much. It is nicer and cleaner than a similar priced apartment hotel nearby that we had previously stayed in. The hotel - We were really happy with the apartments. We stayed in a studio- it was a good size with contemporary decor and furnishings and view to the street. It had thoughtful touches like a coffee plunger, and complimentary dishwasing tablets and clothes washing machine liquid. The staff were great - the concierge noticed we were exhausted after catching an overnight flight and (without being asked) arranged for a room cleaned so we cleaned so we could check in early.   Stayed there 3 nights the reception staff were so helpful the rooms were of a decent size beds were so comfy would recommend a stay there to anyone we will be back in 2 years time !!! - Location was good, it was far enough away from the Cross that there wasn't too much noise around.
