  Close to Wynyard station Lady at reception was lovely and helped me with my bags, toddler, portacot etc, she loaded me onto the trolley, including my son in his carseat and helped us unload into our room. She had a NZ accent and was wearing a grey shirt when she checked in. She was great and deserves recognition!! The apartment was fabulous, very clean and spacious and extremely comfortable for all of us. Our kids loved the heated pool and spa. Excellent location and easy walking distance to the main attractions and with Wynyard station around the corner, getting to Bondi or anywhere else was a breeze. We will definately stay here again and recommend to others.

Love the freedom of having the kitchenette in the room. Love the fact I don't have to step over and into a bath/spa to have a shower! I liked the newspaper, definitely a great extra. Didn't hear any external noise from our room. - the friendly and professional staff; the size of the studio apartment was surprisingly very large and very comfortable; the restaurant in the hotel and the cafe next door were excellent and value for money.   We enjoyed our stay at the Meriton in Kent Street very much. It is nicer and cleaner than a similar priced apartment hotel nearby that we had previously stayed in. The staff were great - the concierge noticed we were exhausted after catching an overnight flight and (without being asked) arranged for a room cleaned so we cleaned so we could check in early.   Modern rooms, very clean. Self-contained units--everything you need to cook and do laundry. They even supply laundry/dishwasher soap daily. Excellent location, very quick walk to Town Hall and Museum (no lifts) stops. Our family of 3, including a 14 month old, had no problems traveling to/from the airport on the train with our bags from this hotel... what people say » . The cot the hotel provided for our 14 mo son was fine. He slept in it without complaint. Complementary internet was very good. 1GB/day and excellen - The views were great and accommodated the 5 of us very well. The shops, the Rocks and Darling Harbour were literally on the door stop. Staff were friendly and very helpful - I had accidentally left a make up bag behind and called up 10 days later to see if I had left it behind. It was found in housekeeping and promptly mailed back to me. I would recommend the Meriton on Pitt street to everyone, my friends and I are already planning our next girls trip and happy to have our accommodation sorted!
