  Me and my partner are doing 6 months Oz followed by 6 months NZ. We're on a budget, but not a backpackers budget, and having done extensive research into Sydney's accommodation options the Admiral Collingwood Lodge seemed like our best bet. We were here in May, just in ti - This was a stunning and pleasant surprise for a last minute booking. Rob and his wife were worldly yet extremely gracious - there was not a hint of burnout (standard with homeowner hosts) or any sense that my requests/questions or presence were burdensome or tiring.   We stayed ( 3 girls) in a studio apartment which was basic but clean,spacious,fully equipped with a nice veranda for smoking.Great Central Bondi area walking to the beach,punbs,coffee shops and parties.Very good rate for bondi- we had weekly rate.A lot of your persons in the complex.Nice roof top pool.we will be back in beautiful Bondi next Year!!!

  My partner and I booked 4 nights here as it was a great price and location. We then extended 3 more nights as we really enjoyed it. Our room is nice and spacious with a Tv and balcony. Even though there are only ceiling fans we found it still did the trick and worked well! The breakfast was an added bonus with eggs, bacon, toast - We arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but had no problem getting to our room. When we got to our room one of the builders who was helping to renovate the hotel said that we were unable to get into our room - so we got an upgrade to a family room for free! The staff we very apologetic. Our room was good as we were in a section on our own, rarely bumped into anyone at the shared bathroom. The TV has a great choice of channels. The breakfast was amazing every morning & had a great sele
