  Good communication with staff from time of booking through to vacating, very accomodating on a couple of requests i made. Apartment spacious and clean and did not lack for anything required. It makes us want to come back t - Arrived from the usa to Australia and was allowed to check in early. Front desk staff was Excellent. They were very helpful and knowledgeable as was our first time there! Hotel is clean, bed is very very comfortable and had plenty of hot water! (That was from other post we read before we got there!) Hotel in an excellent location in the cbd. It's not a luxury hotel but it would be a hotel I would choose again.

  Friendly and efficient staff. My late check-in from the airport was pleasantly and conveniently organised for entry and key pick-up! We were also walked through by Joanne after we arrived for our second stay to be shown easier access from outdoors to lower ground. Rooms were good and clean with coffee/tea facilities which provided our good start ... what people say » to the days were stayed. A BIG bonus was the pantry and laundry complete with an iron:) Would surely RETURN, when needed for a stay. - The lady on reception was friendly and welcoming and we appreciated her knowledgeable of the area. The lodge has a lovely character, was very clean, up to date in design and comfortable. Its also central to the uni, a lively pocket of wonderful little restaurants and general shopping.

  We arrived at the hotel and saw the stairs and thought "Oh No", but reception immediately said they would bring our bags up for us. We were really grateful. Same thing in the morning. She totally made my day. Despite the plain look from the outside, the hotel was pretty cool on the inside. My fault for not checking the maps, I thought it would be right next to the airport.   I had the unfortunate situation of having a migraine headache on the morning we were leaving but had several hours to pass before making our way to our cruise ship. My fellow travellers went for a walk whilst I sat in the reception area. The manager after asking me if I had been "left behind" I explained my problem, she very kindly took me to a ve... what people say » ry quiet lounge room where I could relax & wait for my companions return before going straight to the ship. This lady's kindness was above and bey - Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.

  We have stayed here a few times, and have just had another 2 nights. it is sad to constantly read the poor reviews the hotel gets. Sure there are things that need some fixing up, and yeh it's not the Hilton, but it sure is a great friendly and convenient place to stay and relax. If you book and stay there, just enjoy it for what it is - Was at RPA for surgery. Found the staff very friendly & very helpful. Staff were very understanding of our situation with the operation & helped out with everything we asked. Our house cleaner went above & beyond as she knew Tim had surgery- every morning as we went for his rehab she dropped everything & did our room when we were out. Made sure Management knew how good she was & left her a box of chocolates. Re-booked for next hospital stay as this was our 3rd stay & we

  I never write reviews... But for this one, I make an exception. It's à nice hotel for people who want privacy and who want to arrange everything by theirselves. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, comfortable bed! There is à kitchen, where you can make your own breakfast. And bathrooms, although shared, are clean. I have seen other backpackers or hotels nearby but this hotel really stands out to be classy for the money spent.

  The room was small but was always kept very clean. The hotel is in a quite location and it is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station which was very handy. The breakfast was great. George, the proprietor, was a great host. He knows all his guests by name and is always willing to assist.
