  We liked the fact that the staff permitted us to use the shower and store our belongings prior to check in. We had arrived in Sydney from Darwin at 6am and could not check in until 2pm that day so we really appreciated the shower to freshen up. We have never been to Sydney before so we had no idea where we we going whilst we filled in the 6 hours awaiting to check in. If we ha - The hotel staff was great and always helpful. The location is simply amazing: 5 minutes walk from Darling Harbour and the Star Casino! Our room was fairly big, hence the fact, I cannot understand people complaining on their reviews about the size of their room (maybe I was just lucky?!). The shared bathroom worked just fine, after all, nobody goes on a trip to stay closed in a bathroom do they?

  This place is in a great location, the staff are friendly and always available to help. They were happy to extend our stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and there are loads of bathrooms to shower any time. - Just a few steps from the beach

  The staff was very accommodating to me checking in just prior to when they opened up midday and were helpful with information on the busses to the city and back and with storing my luggage prior to my flight schedule. The location is just a short walk from Newtown which is a great neighborhood and has good restaurants that have more realistic pric... what people say » ing than in the city. Great shops, too. It is a relatively short cab ride to the airport. - The staff were super friendly and we would stay there just for that reason. The new beds are super comfy, clean and quiet.....forget about those expensive 5 star hotels with the snooty staff, go to the Ibis as Sy Peters, you wont be sorry...besides all that there is a kfc and a Macdonalds right outside the front door! Fine dining and a wonderful location with friendly staff and comfy beds???? Go to the ibis!!!

The latter is available in the laundry room.   I was very impressed I could book in at 11am and out my luggage in. Then my daughter snd i could get straight yo the royal easter show .Parking was very convenient. Bed was so comfortable.
