I was pleasantly surprised that a note I put in our booking about the weekend stay being for my girlfriend's birthday meant that by the time we checked in, we had already received a complimentary upgrade to a beach view. The extra attention and little touches we received from Novotel's staff made all the differenc - The staff at the front desk and the concierge were amazingly helpful and great to deal with. Even when I had to go late at night to get something from my car the concierge happily assisted me. When the lady checking us in realised we were in a group she immediately gave us rooms close to each other. There was no problems with us paying up front and using cash as the deposit instead of having an authorisation taken on our cards. The room was clean, large and had everything we needed. Would defin

  The location was great-2 blocks to the beach and lots of restaurants, stores, walking paths, markets and transit. We were in town for a wedding and rented a 3 bedroom unit and a 1 bedroom unit. The 3 bedroom unit had 2 large corner wrap around decks. The kitchen was well set up for cooking and appliances were all good. The 1 bedroom was spacious & had a tub in addition to the shower. - • Modern and fully equipped apartment including a massive led 3d tv with a PlayStation 3 which I enjoyed with the kids. • Clean and fresh appearance • It is only a couple of blocks away from the beach. • There is a beautiful Café and Organic Shop on the ground floor, perfect for a great morning coffee and breakfast.

  Had an outstanding time from the moment I walked through the doors! Staff were excellent and really friendly, and we received a complementary bottle of champagne for my partners birthday :) The room was one of the nicest I've stayed in, and everything was of high quality! :) T2 tea yum!!   Stayed there 3 nights the reception staff were so helpful the rooms were of a decent size beds were so comfy would recommend a stay there to anyone we will be back in 2 years time !!! - Location was good, it was far enough away from the Cross that there wasn't too much noise around.   As a fit grandmother with grandchildren 11 and 8, I found Apt 319 suited us perfectly for 8 nights in April.Very quiet little apartment well appointed with all you need for a granny with grandchildren! Pool on rooftop, free interesting breakfast, generous balcony with table and chairs and good kitchen with all necessary utensils, fridge/freezer, ... what people say » good stove, microwave etc. Clean and fresh with washing machine/drier and sofabed fine for adults, with children in double bed. Friendly helpful manag - It's location easy to get into Sydney cbd. The hotel owners were so welcoming and helpful. Our studio apartment was comfortable and well equipped with everything you needed we were particularly grateful for the washing machine and tumble dryer and some sachets of washing powder.There was a nice continental breakfast which was part of the room rate. In our opinion a good place to stay for a reasonable room rate.

Some reviews had complained the hotel is dated. I wouldn't agree. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back.

  Everything about the Park Royal Darling Harbour was excellent. The location, the venue itself, but most of all the staff. My wife had a medical emergency during our stay and the assistance provided by all the staff we encountered was absolutely "second to none" even though it all unfolded during the middle of the night. For our purpose which was Entertainment Centre concerts ( Carlos Santana, Robert Plant and the Tedeschi Trucks Band at the Enmore theatre it was ideal. Access to all points of Darling Harbour, Fish Markets, Circular Quay, The Rocks, China Town, QVB shopping ,The Apple Shop, ABC Shop, Broadway and the Park Royal all central to it.   We stayed ( 3 girls) in a studio apartment which was basic but clean,spacious,fully equipped with a nice veranda for smoking.Great Central Bondi area walking to the beach,punbs,coffee shops and parties.Very good rate for bondi- we had weekly rate.A lot of your persons in the complex.Nice roof top pool.we will be back in beautiful Bondi next Year!!!

Travelling to the city on the ferry was relaxing and enjoyable. Australia Day on the harbour was terrific. The staff at the quest were helpful and pleasant nothing was too much trouble.
