The room is clean and comfortable, equipped with almost everything we needed, like small pantry with microwave, crokery and cutlery. Iron board is provided. In the room we stayed there is a nice Sofa with coffee table and dining table. The bathroom is quite nice and clean. The shower carbinet is big and comfortable. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We had problem with flooding so we couldn't arrive the hotel in the first night, and we couldn't manage to get the cancel the booking witho.

All were smiling permanently, were happy to be at Travelodge, and could not do enough to assist with all of the items that I needed. I appreciated this service soooo much. We had a large room with all the usual facilities. Good carpark at the rear. Friendly and helpful staff. Outstanding value for money. The management addressed our concerns and discounted our stay. They care about making your stay pleasant and trouble free. Staff were briefed and undergoing retraining. Would go back for sure. staff were very helpfull. room was clean and tidy,more than adequate. leagues club across the road. public bus was metres away and on time. facilities were very good,. That said, there is NO reflection on Travelodge in any way for the tendencies of differing cultural aspects. Nothing. Housekeeping was sloppy. Did not change the towels and did not remake the bed properly. breakfast was expensive for small eaters. Minor issues really, but should be noted. King sized room should have sofa, not only chairs. Breakfast was not up to standards nor price; eggs were tasteless and bacon was dry. Bathroom tiles (small ones) are not hygienic and bathroom could be cleaner. However, no major issue with cleaness. Nothing. Woken by shower noise from next room. Couldn't get TV to work one morning. I had a problem with the internet,very slow !!!!. Finding previous guest toe nails folded into the 'Tell us about your stay survey' brochure. Nothing all was great. Mix up with payment - an amount exceeding the end payment was put on to credit card and remained as potential payment on my account for several days. No radio. Breakfast was a shambles - at 9am no plates/bowls to eat. A bit messy. Understaffed, as the duty manager was doing table cleaning duties!!! I ate elsewhere. room access key not working (kept in same place in my wallet as when staying in other hotels with no problem) Car parking fee now applies. No resturant after hours, not all that much to do surrounding, no chemist nearby, amenities too far since we had no car and had to walk. all good :). It was all good. Unusual to pay for car parking this far from city centre. Access to and from hotel was easy getting onto the main road was hairy unless you know where to go to get lights but that's something out of your control. The rain. Nothing. Nothing. Weekend cleaners took short-cuts and did not change bedding. being in a room with the ice machine outside the door that drove us crazy every night as it rattled away and deprived us of our sleep after we had had a very busy week , there was no couch but two tables ?. No DVD player. My security bond was double because I only use cash. No toaster. How expensive it was to purchase a toothbrush and toothpaste - I would have thought they'd be free. Tv picture quality. Nothing. Parking was a problem. Nothing. Nope. We were very disappointed with our room (#136) It was next to the kitchen and loading dock. We were being constantly woken up by banking implements and loud and at times shouting from the kitchen area it disrupted our sleep, When I raised problem when checking out I basically got a shrug of the shoulders and a couldn't care a less attitude. I will not be recommending this place to friends or family. Very noisy guests nearby. Beds not made during a 2 night stay. fridge wasnt cold. asked reception and they told me to turn the knob to cold... which we already did 60 min earlier. there were baby cockroaches in our room. we checked out about 2am and slept in the car. Don't think we'll be staying there again. Shower head was terrible, the water came out from all angles, toilet flush got stuck a few times. I think sometimes if you don't book direct you get a lesser quality room. However I was still happy. Lack of sound-proofing (room doors are thin and hallway noise). Mould in the bathroom and ac not working very well.
