Staff went out of their to compensate for problems that were no fault of their own that I experienced with my airline's failure to honour ground transfer ie free use of hotel phone, upgrade on fraught late arrival. Also,very helpful with local knowledge to get round difficulties with Good Friday closures. The staff were fantastic, probably the best service ive encountered from any hotel staff. The rooms were clean with great views. Located about a 15 minute walk from opera house.
all reviews » The reception staff on the day were fabulous. Very friendly and courteous. The room was spacious,clean,very quiet and the bed was comfy.We had a lovely view over Hyde Park. We were lucky to get a special offer for two night stay which made the cost more affordable. We hope we can do the same in around seven weeks. Nice staff,good location and acceptable price. Unfortunately the motel was going through a renovation - bit noisy through the day. There was a staff/storage room straight outside our door, and it would be open and left to slam shut all through the night and morning, which would wake everyone up, even when I asked if they could shut the door softly, I continued. The hotel was renovated from another hotel, which the new name was not shown on map. Nothing. The room promised a bath, yet on arrival there was no bath. some problem with the air condition, smell bad. breakfast is not good as other 5-star hotels, non as the services.
