really good place for this price! we was lucky & the view from our window was exellent - Harbour Bridge & Opera House. we have come some hours before check-in but our room was ready. staff is very friendly, room & shower clean. great value for this money!. Its a good hotel near to all entertainment places. The view of Harbour bridge was amazing from my room. one can easily get access to train station and taxi. Main shopping areas are just on the 15 minutes walk. I am satisfied for the value of money paid.

As a mature couple we still walked several times between the hotel and Circular Quay. The staff were outstanding, we arrived very early and they couldn't have been more helpful!! The location was ideal and the view from our room was fabulous!. Staff at the desk where very helpful and polite. Felt safe at all times, close to where I had to go, minimal noise and good value breakfast. The room for 4 pax is really spacious, the staff is really friendly, very clean room. It is comfortable. Easy access to train station. I could not have wished for more.I would certainly recommend it to others. For the price and location, what more could you ask for. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. One lift still wasn't operational Toilet in room wouldn't flush on two occasions but they fixed it straight away when I bought it to their attention the first time second time I did it myself no big deal really. More parking space would have been better. Hotel management could not confirm in advance about the onsite parking. For group travelling by CAR with GPS - back side lane address is better. Clearer indication or information in advance on this would have been better. Lights in one of the lift was not working for more than 24-hrs. aged facilities. Do not change towels every day! Please, consider the environment. Ask customers to put them on the floor when dirty and only those change, otherwise - not. Save your money and washing mean. The room needed airing badly, room 515 smelt like a golden retriever lol! The window did not open. The lighting in the room was very poor. Location My friend who stayed in Sydney told me, king cross is a red district. If you are alone and plan to return to hotel late in night, perhaps it should become a consideration. On the positive view, this hotel is on the protocol street, not in the alley, etc. hotel information did not mention about no shampoo and shower gel provided. Maybe it practice in Austrilia that i donot know, but it Will be terrible for those people never prepare anything. It will be sweet just highlight to them in hotel information. The quadruple room was very small. the windows cannot be opened,then we must use the air conditioner while the noise is existing all the time. Carpet was smelly. Smelly and dirty. When arrived and used the toilet off the kitchen area looks like it had not been cleaned for days and no toilet paper. $189 stay, Overpriced for a formula one chain especially the condition this one is in.. Staff making mistakes from checking in , making further charges to our credit card when rooms booked were prepaid and giving wrong information about closing time of car park . Mistakes were corrected . Just average staff service. The manager was not helpful . overnight noise and swearing in corridors. Hallway smelled like urine. The smell of the room. Wet stinky smell all day long... No extraction. The inconsiderate other guests staying on our floor very loud and the language was disgusting. The hotel needs a good renovation. Very basic facilities. Hard pillows. The room was stuffy and smelt like old sandshoes with unwashed feet. The shower was inoperable. A couple of tiny spirts spread in two different directions. I had to wash in the handbasin. There was one uncomfortable spring in the bed. Dust around edges of carpet in hallways and rooms. Male receptionists not overly friendly or helpful. Web photo implies hotel tall and towering. Tower is not part of the hotel. Very disappointed, as changed from central hotel because of expected views !!. - budget hotel = hostel with private rooms - stairs to reception from William Street very steep (you can also take the other easier stairs leading through the breakfast room, but still no lift) - had street side room, windows were closed and locked, but traffic sounded like windows were not there - cockroaches in room - lift did not work on checkout day, no sign telling people. Toilet did not work. Entire 3rd floor was having an awkward smell (urin). The smell inside the room was even worse. Staff were not helpful and looked unhappy to be working, even threatened to ask me to leave if i had more than 4 people in a quadruple room. The airconditioning smelt like urine when we turned it on. The bed was horridly uncomfortable, mattress springs in room 513 almost protruding and the door privacy lock did not work so I used a coathanger to secure the door. The shower curtain had what appeared to be blood stains on them. There were no bins in the room or bathroom. The loud noise of partying and altercations and profane language in other rooms and the hallway was ridiculous. This behaviour kept me awake and on edge all night on 20 July, 2013?. No furniture in room! No utensils, not even a glass or cup!.
