We just needed stopover self-catering accommodation- these units fitted the bill- nothing flash (older style), but clean, well-maintained and spacious. The kitchenette was simply, but adequately, equipped for cooking a basic meal- electric frypan and small microwave. -

the location and view was gorgeous. the Chalet well fitted. there was a fire ban so a young man dropped off a gas BBQ for us. He was so chuffed we couldn't tell him it needed a gas bottle too!! -

We loved the clean modern design, stand up shower, the artwork, climate control, safety features (room card in elevator), computers with free Internet in the lobby, free wifi in the lobby, baggage storage space upon arrival and departure, comfortable lobby area, quiet rooms, good selection of tv channels, comfortable bed etc!!! I stayed in my own room with a queen bed. Very comfortable. No fridge in room but access to main fridges in share kitchen. The private rooms are a great compromise between having friendly international travellers around but not having to share a room if you like your privacy.
Will be my first stop next time I stay in Perth.

I think there were new beds since my last stay and they were very comfortable.
The food was great, my friend had to order two meals one night as she could not decide and loved both of them particularly the ribs.We also both had the creme brulee and it was divine.
Service from reception was great from air port pick up right through to check out!

We have been going to Abbey for about 20 yrs. love convenience of having everything on site. We were thinking the units were looking tired and for a resort could never work out why beds were standard doubles. However for the first time we had an upgrade and were delighted. We have been very loyal to Abbey and again love the location and service has been over all these years and staff changes, very good.
