  We booked in for Saturday 13 April 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed our brilliant one night stay. The whole experience was delightful and my mother visiting from New Zealand was genuinely excited about her new experience in Margaret River.   Love the warm welcome even before we checked in with the details and recommendation sent to my email weeks before my arrival to facilitate our planning. Vinnie the farmer is very friendly and welcoming, making us feel like VIP during the stay. He even accommodated my request for late check out as we wanted to do the mass feeding in the morning before checking o - We had a wonderful 5 nights stay at Cottage no.7, which is a 3 bedroom superior cottage. Vinnie is great with the kids, my elder son whom is 3 years old loves him. As with Sydneyresident, we experienced the power failure which affected the whole town and a few towns over. Vinnie brought around the portable generator so that we could have a quick shower and head out for activites. There's plenty to do around the area and all within 30min -90mins drive.

  There was a minor misunderstanding with the booking but it was dealt with in a very friendly and efficient manner and while we waited for the room to be made ready we were offered complimentary drinks, we were also given a very generous discount.   the location and view was gorgeous. the Chalet well fitted. there was a fire ban so a young man dropped off a gas BBQ for us. He was so chuffed we couldn't tell him it needed a gas bottle too!! - Very private, great place for a romantic getaway.

  Simple, comfortable, has everything you need. Caters to a variety of groups (backpackers, families, older people, budget travellers, those who like their comfort). Wildlife wandered freely through the resort but boundaries to eating areas maintained. Everything close, nothing too over the top. The dolphin interaction took the needs of the animals ... what people say » into consideration. Good variety of activities on offer. Facilities for swimming and tennis, amongst others, provided. Small, well-equipped shop/mini- - The location is great. We stayed in the beach villas, with a balcony right on the beach... the only room type to book in my opinion (if you stay in the garden villas, other review comments apply about the "caravan park like setting"). But the beach villas were nice, dolphin viewing great - I wouldn't stay anywhere else (unless you have a very tight budget)

  The never ending help from the staff over and above of their duties. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. Being pensioners the room we had was great as we did not have to walk far to the restaurant. - Great, cool room. Hotel set in green surroundings. In center of Kununurra.

Nice communal living area and lovely breakfast room with nicely cooked omelettes as my choice for breakfast. Easy access to the airport and the country.
