  The location, the staff, the restaurant. The setting is beautiful, and Daylesford is a very pretty country town. The staff were helpful and attentive. There was a problem with some shampoo my wife bought from the hotel (they gave her the wrong thing, but she didn't find out until we got home almost 2 weeks later). It was rectified immediately and... what people say » without fuss. The correct product arrived by courier the day after she phoned them. The restaurant was superb. We ate there both nights, and had brea - Beautiful location on Lake Daylesford. Peaceful walks around the lake. Very comfortable room with attractive decor and lighting. Great bathroom facility with heated floor! Attentive, caring and friendly staff. Wonderful restaurant with exceptional ambience. A very pleasurable experience overall.

  we liked everything about this villa we were in except for the front steps we are all over 70 and pretty fit but the steps were steep. The back ones were better but didnt have a hand rail.But beside that the villa was beautiful clean comfortable beds nice outside.We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. - Warm and friendly managers.   We liked being located right on the Murray River with lots of trees and kookaburras visiting our cabin. The pool and updated decor in the cabin were great too. - Good security, restful & quiet, undercover parking, river access,clean, close to Clubs.

Staying in the Snowgums Chalet that had an outdoor spa which was secluded from the other chalets looking out at snow capped mountains was stunning.   A very neat and modern apartment with all the facilities needed. A few good places to eat locally makes for a good location on theGOR - Best accommodation on the Great Ocean Road that we stayed in. Relatively good value for money. New builds in excellent condition.
