We stayed in a king room with a bay view. It was most excellent. The staff was very friendly and even offered to carry our luggage to the second floor. We also enjoyed the pub and dinner. Also clear the owners are investing in some upgrades with new carpeting and some appointments. We did enjoy the quaintness of staying in a vintage hotel. -

Loved the place, surprisingly very spacious, brand new, modern and bright. The kitchen was so well kitted out, and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Port Fairy is such a little town, so the fact that they're not located right at the beach doesn't even count as a negative! A+!! we will come back for another weekend away.

For people driving like myself think this is the most value-for-money stay in Mebourne city centre. Costs AUD25 for 24hr parking.
I manage to find my way to hotel using my GPS with ease.
It's only about less than 5min walk to the tram station (free city circle tram) for those not driving. only thing the tram ends at 6pm and 9pm on wkns. Without trams it will be a 15min walk from Spencer St area as you need to get around this big railway station (i think) and you can't walk straight down Bourk

We had a really great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and gave us great tips of what to go and see. Location was in short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. Grounds had great pool and our family room was perfect for our two children who asked to come back again. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others!
