This was our second stay at the Grand Hotel Melbourne and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. The staff are always very friendly and eager to help were possible. All the rooms are very spacious and clean with the most amazingly comfortable beds. We were also touched that the staff had given us a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival! -

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded FOC, not sure why. The room was clean except for the carpet. The bed is very comfortable. We also liked the heater in the toilet which made it very pleasant to shower in cold weather. The lodge is also within walking distance to shops and restaurant.
