Friendly Staff remembered our names and thanked us for staying.
We phoned to say we were running late. They went and put the air conditioner in room so it wouldn't be freezing when we arrived.
On leaving we stated we would stay again. Room was clean, of a good standard and very reasonably priced. -

My son goes to boarding school in Melbourne. This has become my second home when I visit Melbourne. Paul and Adrian are friendly and helpful at the reception desk. The train station is right next door. Excellent location for going to the city or shopping in Chapel Street or Praham.

Very clean and tidy, well presented excellent housekeeping and close to shops, cafe's and some great coffee spots. Housekeeping was great etc had everything that was promised, I read some of the negative comments listed and frankly a lot of them seem unwarranted, if you want a good clean room with LCD and mine had a DVD Stereo to, The BEST SHOWER

Comfy and clean room. In fact, spa room is the best one I ever seen in motels. Pool and outdoor area adds up to relaxing atmosphere. Would be ideal for romantic getaway. For someone who likes cooking own meals, like we do, there's also a public kitchen and dining area, and they can bring a microwave to the room on request. -

Love the place. It was like home away from home. Dale made us feel at home, even introduced us to his family. The full fledged kitchen enabled us to quickly cook-up a meal.

The cottage was excellent. Having older boys we were able to give them the run of upstairs and we had the downstairs room. The cottage was well decorated and the deck was lovely. We had a fantastic view of the lagoon. The pool looked great but it was a bit too cold to go in. The games room was fun. -

The quietness was awaresome.The location escpecially Aug - Sept has been worth the trip. For aussie history buffs it was good and informative. The townspeople are friendly and full of information. The local cuisine is good. Generally it was worth the visit and we will go again and stay a bit longer next visit and take others back with us.Directions into Walhalla were marginally good, particularly from Moe.Roads into town are good. Thank you Walhalla.We will be back.
