  La perouse is maintained to an excellent standard, from the minute you enter it is light, bright, airy and personal. We stayed for 2 nights and found it a great location to travel the great ocean rd and return to comfortable surroundings. The owners Laurel and Sue we're friendly and helpful. The room was very cosy, clean and tranquil. The breakfast in the morning was delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, latte, toasted muslei with berries and yoghurt and croissants with jam yummy! The owners were delightful and made you feel right at home. My husband and I will definitely be comming back thankyou for making us feel extra special on our honeymoon.

  The location, the staff, the restaurant. The setting is beautiful, and Daylesford is a very pretty country town. The staff were helpful and attentive. There was a problem with some shampoo my wife bought from the hotel (they gave her the wrong thing, but she didn't find out until we got home almost 2 weeks later). We ate there both nights, and had brea - Beautiful location on Lake Daylesford. Peaceful walks around the lake. Very comfortable room with attractive decor and lighting. Great bathroom facility with heated floor! Attentive, caring and friendly staff. Wonderful restaurant with exceptional ambience. A very pleasurable experience overall.

  As I am currently in a wheelchair and had noted this in the instructions - I was delighted that they put me in a King room with a disabled friendly bathroom.
