  Lovely and very clean with comfortable bedding and good quality furniture and seating sofa with lovely extras like good quality bickies included with tea and coffee supplies .. thoughtful addition of hand creme/lotion and lovely presentation of shampoo/soap in a little shell container ..also retractable clothes line in bathroom which we didnt use... what people say » but I thought was a thoughtful addition for those who required it ... Friendly staff - Friendliness of staff. Generosity of toiletries and tea and coffee times, no skimping. Offer of transport into town after they rang around to check opening hours of restaurants. Motel offers that little bit more than others. Under cover parking directly in front of your room a bonus too

  Family room was great with the 2 bedrooms - enough space for 3 teenage daughters. Staff were easy to deal with (and spoke clear english) and made changes easy - Meal from Capricornia Resturant was excellent. Glad room offered basic items like microwave, sink & plates.

  Myself and my son chose the airport Ascot as we were catching a flight the following day. It was perfect for it's proximity to the airport as well as being near to some lovely restaurants and shops. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room was excellent. Car was undercover. Close to food choices at Racecourse Rd, we had the best Indian meal! Location is perfect for access to longterm parking facilities with transfer to airport.   The staff were so friendly and the family room we had was excellent. We will book a family room again next time we have to stay in Townsville. The boys want to come back in summer and try out the pool/spa. THANK YOU. - Large room for all the family and reasonable price.

  The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. As my partner is over 6ft tall we often have trouble finding a comfortable bed. On this occasion however he could not fault the bed. We will definitely be checking for a vacancy here on our next trip to toowoomba.

Rob was an excellent host making sure we had all the information for where we were located and places to eat for dinner and breakfast. The best place we have stayed in so far on our trip of 3,300kms to date. - Rob was a very friendly host and an outstanding resource for information on places to eat and things to do in and around Hervey Bay. His blog also provided great recommendations about what to do on the way to Hervey Bay from just about every direction. Our room's back porch was a very pleasant spot to relax and have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine or beer at night. We really enjoyed our stay!
