During the resent floods in Bundaberg we stayed at the motel because we had no boat left. The welcome we received was wonderful. During our stay the power went out and food was limited but they allowed us to continue staying and the even fed us. They even had a generator and allowed us to charge phones and computers. I can not recommend the Rivers

The food was excellent and our room was spacious with a view of the river. Bundaberg is very different and would only recommend for a stopover as we did. The people however were very friendly.

there was a fridge and microwave in the room, so that was good.

Lovely outlook from bedrooms onto tropical pools/plants area. Water trickling feature was a lovely sound as well as bird song in trees. Kitchen facility area outside was novel. Pool area was also lovely. Washing facility was a real bonus. -

The room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. I didn't arrive at Poppies until later in the evening, and Freda (the host) was lovely when I called to let her know, gave great directions, tips on where to find dinner late at night and she was very welcoming when I finally got there. The room had everything one could ask for. A fully equipped kitchen.
The B n B was clean and neat.

last minute and they were able to accommodate them with late notice.)
Motel was basic but seeing as we didn't spend a lot of time there
