  Everything about the Port Douglas Motel was excellent! The location was excellent, it was immaculately clean and the staff were exceptional. One of the best hotel/motel experiences I've had. Not to mention that the price was unbeatable! I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay there. - Loved this place! They say more than just a motel ... what people say » and how true! Wonderful beds,clean and great staff! Couldn't believe the bad review and think it was some kind of sour grape! We didn't need a car it is so close to everything. Big thank you Port Douglas Motel! Well done.

  Beautiful apartment, equipped with everything we needed for a week's stay. Fantastic views of the sea from balcony. Expect daily visits from the cockatoos! If you want to avoid the killer hill, there is a pathway leading from the apartments which runs along the creek and is not quite so steep.   loved the design of the villas,and the bright colours. Loved the intimacy of it being a small resort for couples. Loved all the complimentary extras that made it special. Loved the herb pots. The huge bed. The outdoor bath. The beautiful shower .The gardens and fishpots were amazing. The quietness. The rainforest surroundings. fully self contained... what people say » . The ladies who manage the resort a wonderful, helpful and very friendly. They made us feel very welcome. - The privacy, the secluded area per unit. The gardens were amazing. All the little extras were included like robes, candles, mozzie coils and so forth ... more than you would expect from a budget resort. Such a relaxing and tropical atmosphere. This accommodation was the best thing about Port Douglas.

  Very clean and the owners very helpful. The breakfast were well presented and delicious also the use of local foods. The ambiance of the B&B made our stay wishing to go back. We will recommend to all our friends. - Was close to the esplanade. 5-10 minute walk only

  The place as a whole was awesome our room was more then what we expected . The location was perfect for us . Check in and out was easy the manager was lovely. We will go back again and also recommend it to family and friends coming to visit us as we only live at yorkeys knob about ten min away.   Facilities were excellent. Clean, spacious, all mod cons, fridge, microwave, cable tv, toaster, hairdryer, iron. Comfy bed, comfy couch, plenty of room to move around, table & chairs outside. Friendly staff. Knew when rooms were being cleaned between 9 and 11 so could go out then and know would come back to clean room. Excellent place. - ... what people say » Staff were accommodating to our needs e.g. parking for two cars. While it was fluorescent tube lighting it was much better than the trend towards dimly lit rooms that we seem to have experienced so often of late. Room was more than satisfactory for a short notice overnight stay Thanks.
