  I was only there for a very short time (not even 12hours), but the staff at reception were very friendly and check in was seamless; the bed I had was comfortable enough, with clean sheets (although the top bunk was a bit squeaky!). The 4 bed dorm was very roomy, clean and new. The bathroom and showers were clean and adequate. There were lots of friendly looking people around and it looks lik - Really good location! Rooms are bigger than the other hostels. Clean. The staffs are helpful. Provide good activities.

  We stayed for two days while visiting Canberra which was an easy drive from the motel.It is close to the shopping centre and leagues club.Staff were very friendly and helpful.Room was clean close to the main road but that didn't bother us.Room was warm and comfortable.Would stay again. - Newly renovated, good kitchenette, microwave, quiet fridge.... what people say » beside a main road but very quiet.   Location was a very short walk to the beautiful Bondi beach - two grocery stores a few shops away- stocked our wonderful new kitchen. Spotless - large comfy bed and pull out was great as well for our daughter - room dividers pulled to make two rooms. Everything was top rate. Very happy there. Would go back anytime - staff was excellent!!!!!!! ... what people say » - The apartments were very luxurious. With this and the gym, pool and spa you could spend all day there. However only a 5min walk to Bondi beach and cafes. The 1st night we stayed the people in the neighbouring apartment were very noisy. The staff were brilliant about and the next night moved us and upgraded us for free.

  Was excellent value for money , was expecting much worse for the price. Clean and modern bathroom. Also honest people running Motel, was signing out when the cleaner came and returned one of our expensive latex pillows I had left in the room, which I take everywhere I go.   Great location directly on the Bondi beach. Spacious and clean room. Big shared kitchen with rooftop and grill. Good connection to city center by bus (30 min.) - Staff were really helpfull and friendly, room was huge and really clean. Perfect location. Would definitly stay here again.

  I am a regular visitor to Merimbula because I like the Fish Pen locatin and weather in January. I chose the Black Dolphin resort because it offered all we required in accomodation, at a very fair rate. The appartment was clean, comfortable and quiet. A great view from the balcony and adequate parking. Thanks for a great stay and I hope to return ... what people say » again next year. - the owners have done simple renovations to update & modernise the look of the buildings, new modern style bedding, clean and in working order.
