  With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. It was very quiet being off the main road and the upstairs rooms are shaded by treetops. - Apartments are very child friendly.   I liked the cleanliness, spaciousness, the warm pool, the owners were delightful and politely enforce a quite curfew after a certain hour making it a very peaceful and respectful space to relax and enjoy. Even the fellow travellers were friendly. Overall I think people are in tune to the happy and relaxed feel. The location is perfect. We had an amazing time and loved the choice of eating places, trips and excurtions on offer.

  Not normally the type to be compelled to write reviews, however my experience here was so fantastic I feel the need. I even stayed one extra night because it was just what I was needing at that point in my journey. The little extras that went toward making my stay really memorable are too numerous to list, but the tasteful décor throughout.. Believ - This is a truly great hotel and location simply cant be better. A very helpful and nice staff, free parking and much more is free for you to use like bikes, ipads and laptops, beach towels, umbrellas and toys, dvds and books. Rooms are clean and lovely. Well aired and air conditioned. We stayed in one of their Cosy rooms that had a kitchenette with microwave, fridge and everything you need to cook including plates and dishes and cutlery. There is also a swimming pool and a grill for you to use

  The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming. Really appreciated extra touches such as free use of beach umbrellas and chairs as well as kids toys. Thanks for making our first day at Port Douglas so memorable.

  We are from Invercargill New Zealand and my husband, myself and 22 year old son stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for 5 nights. You absolutely could not get anything more spacious, clean, staff friendly and accommodating and perfect location, 2 streets from the main Village. I can not fault the Cayman Villas at all and would highly recommend the Villas ... what people say » to anyone. - We loved everything about Cayman, from the position, the apartments, the bbq area, the pool and the super friendly manager. Will definately be recommending to friends and family and hope to go back soon. :) - Great location - 5 minute walk to beach or Main Street and 10 mins to wharf area. Great pool - nicely set with enough room for everyone. Lovely helpful lady at reception - so easy to book trips to reef etc.

  Stayed here for four nights in October would have loved longer. Checked in late after reception closed our lamps were lit tea coffee and milk left for us and radio playing relaxing music! Next day Sue was so helpful and organised trips to Daintree and the reef suited to our requirements with minimal fuss. She even loaned my wife a snorkel to pract... what people say » ice with in the pool prior to our day at the reef. Lovely comfortable accommodation and pool convenient to everything especially the wide range of exc - Verandahs is in a great location, so close to everything, no car needed. Older children can safely move between Verandahs, the shops and the beach on their own. Sue was a real pleasure to meet and very helpful. The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was spacious enough for 4 adults and well equipped. Overall stay was really relaxing.

  loved the design of the villas,and the bright colours. Loved the intimacy of it being a small resort for couples. Loved all the complimentary extras that made it special. Loved the herb pots. The huge bed. The outdoor bath. The beautiful shower .The gardens and fishpots were amazing. The quietness. The rainforest surroundings. fully self contained... what people say » . The ladies who manage the resort a wonderful, helpful and very friendly. They made us feel very welcome. - The privacy, the secluded area per unit. The gardens were amazing. This accommodation was the best thing about Port Douglas.
