The room was fantastic and the people were very friendly. The dinner and service at the restaurant was well above what was expected, absolutely beautiful. The spa on the roof was checked and turned on every morning and they even check and clean the BBQ for you. We will definitely be going back.

You really do need a car to get to Port Douglas itself though the hotel does have a courtesy bus (at cost)

The sales are great for locals. It's just up the road from cairns so makes a good weekend away at a reasonable price.

complimentary Champagne for our anniversary unexpected and delightful. Walking on the beach the dining was delicious, a lovely place to spoil yourself for a while.

Having only one night to stay there, would love to go back.

Insufficient overnight parking receiving notification of incorrect parking. It really spoils the overall impression. Parallel parking should be considered where there is space.

Wonderful location to stay! Well designed room and spacious luxurious pool area.

Some service problems: room key didn't work the first time, room wasn't made the first day. It wasn't possible to close all window blinds completely, fridge doesn't close properly.

Atmosphere was very relaxing and was a good location on 4-mile beach.

The room facilities could be better improved with a microwave. As we had a young baby it was very difficult to heat baby bottles and baby food.

Staff really great and friendly. Rooms very stylish, easy access to pool. Food in restaurant good. Awesome views and very relaxing- beautiful.

Visited in May and was a little chilly, would be great if part of pool was heated so can use all year round. Good coffee required, I ordered at Pool bar and not very good. Food at Pool Bar also average. Fresher sleeping pillows/decorative pillows would be great too.

Rooms were clean & tidy .

Extremely poor value for money especially booking through bookings.com. We found our rooms advertised the day after we arrived for half the amount we paid. Advertised pay tv offered little choice. The advertised king bed was actually two singles pushed together and very uncomfortable. On the whole poor value for a resort of this kind.
