Everything!!!! From walking through the reception door, to saying "See you next time," it was excellent. David and Daniela were so accommodating David's recommendations for places to eat we're spot on, the breakfast hampers were superb, and the freshly baked warm bread ... YUM!

Great owners, very friendly and willing to accommodate any request. The perfect getaway location and fully self contained, restocked daily or more often if required without even know they were there (items dropped off at front door), loved the wood fire and the breakfasts, they truly need to be experienced!!

We loved the old world comfort. The room was very comfortable with a lovely view from the bedroom window of the garden, also a very private small verandah. We also loved the continental breakfast lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt,cereal etc.It was very wet for our stay and our host had other activities games,DVDs a great selection of books.

We were able to bring out puppies to enjoy our stay and they also loved it. We all felt right at home, everything was beautiful and very clean and fresh. The gardens were just beautiful. Breakfast was a real treat with fresh local produce. Would definitely stay again. -

Ken & Margaret are friendly and excellent host. They had the room ready when we arrived at 11am since I informed them that I needed to drop off our luggage before we head to the theme park down the mountain....

Ken and Margaret, the owners, were wonderful and entered in to the spirit of why we were there (to get married in Mount Tambourine). The food was excellent and the presentation beautiful. We felt very safe and comfortable at Amber Lodge. It was very central for what we wanted to do and Ken and Margaret very knowledgeable about what was around and what to do.
