The place was perfect, very clean and well located. The facilities in the room were excellent(an excellent point for the bathroom). There was also a pleasant balcony. The owners are very friendly and always here if you need advice. You can hire bike for free. If you stay there, you won't necessarily need a car. If you are planning to go to noosa you definitely should stay at this place. Staff were always friendly & available for advice on sight seeing, places to eat etc.The extremely high standard of cleanliness, comfortable furniture, availability of hairdryer,bbq equipment etc showed a high degree of professionalism by the staff towards customer relations & return business. A job well done by very experienced managers!.
all reviews » The space, comfort and cleanliness of the room was fantastic. We had such a lovely stay and the staff were friendly, welcoming and gave us lots of great suggestions. We were particularly impressed with the cooking/ BBQ facilities and spa bath. Such excellent value for money, I will definitely be coming back!. The host, Monica, was very friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and quite well appointed. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and a spare blanket. We liked having the extra bed as well as a couch. The aircon worked well and the parking spaces weren't too cramped. Loved the spa. Liked the Kitchen facilities. Spacious room. Friendly reception and nothing was a problem. Beach and shopping handy. We had our own transport but with the bus stop right out front, very easy to get around. Would stay again and recomend the resort to others. We were able to check in early as per our request. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were all lovely. We would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arose and will recommend it to friends and family should they travel up that way. At The Sounds is about 40min walk to Hastings street and 20min walk to Gumpie Terrace. With a bus at your doorstep, its well located. Apartment jas everything you need including laundry facilities. Clean, tidy and friendly hosts. Studio room was clean and spacious enough for 2 persons. Outside covered patio overlooking small garden. Faced the road but not any noticeable noise. The location is a 20 min walk from the main beach. However this was no bother as it is in between both Hastings Street and the river. Some of the kitchen utensils/cutlery weren't clean; the stove top was very old and although the elements worked okay, there was some damage to the switches (the lights that indicated which element was on). The barbeque didn't work all that well, which was a bit disappointing as the stove was really too small to cook a full meal and we were relying on the barbeque. Balcony could hve been a bit more private. No security screen on the window in the bathroom. The curtians didn't close together tightly. Under the kitchen sink the door hinge is broken. There werent many towel racks. Eg to hang the dish towel and hand towel. A bit noisy due to main road. Nothing. nothing I did not like. The spa bath could do with a thorough clean as scum was coming out of the jets. We had to fill the spa a couple of times to clean it. Not enough complimentary milk. It was only enough for 1 cup of coffee. Nothing. Nothing. :). Office shut at 5pm. aircon was loud and leaking over head when sleeping. Lounge was uncomfortable to sit on. Air conditioner in our room needs replacing. Stairs. Poor quality TV.

At The Sound is 1.5km's from the infamous Hastings St & Noosa's Main Beach. Surfing, Kite Surfing, body boarding or just plain lazing on the pristine white san, soaking up the fresh air & sun.
