This place was fantastic. We will stay there again. It is always difficult travelling interstate with a dog! Even though the dog is cleaner than many humans and totally well-behaved, the motels that accept animals are usually dumps! Not the case with Jesmond! So pleasantly surprised to fine a comfortable and well furnished, clean room and a very attractive property, well located just across the road from restaurants and other facilities!.

The most important thing is that the place is a Pet-friendly accommodation and this is a big bonus for travellers who do not know what to do with their dogs while they are away. I loved the place and I am going back there soon. My first contact at the airport was with Matt who proved to be friendly and helpful from the start of my stay until the end.The cleaning staff went out of they way to prepare the room for an early entry.Tony the manager couldn't have been a bigger blessing as he helped in so many ways. Excellent service on every level, Thank you. This was the surprise package of our 10 day tour of the Nth Coast of NSW. Great value, clean & plenty of room to relax. Staff very helpful. We needed a ground floor unit due to wife's hip playing up & it was quickly arranged. Pub across the road with in-house Chinese Restaurant - food was fabulous. Recommended. The staff were more lovely and happy to accommodate with early check in. They were very helpful with information and advice on transport within the area. The villas were spacious and had facilities to accommodate everyone and convenient location with the shop, bottle-o and pub across the road. The location. It was very close to the Newcastle University swimming pool where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed the air con, TV & DVD player and the close proximity to shops. We very much appreciated the time we spent there and felt very comfortable there. The apartment was immaculately clean, modern and comfortable. Also I loved that it is right next to that beautiful big park. I also love the fact that it is pet friendly!! I will definately stay there again next time I go to Newcastle. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities in the room were beyond my expectations. This accommodation would rate in the top 5 I have booked. Highly recommend it to others and would stay there again. The apartment was clean and facilities provided were excellent. Very conveniently located near to the Jesmond shopping centre thereby it was very easy to get to the convenience stores for self-cooking in the apartment. Really appreciated being allocated a room with a corner spa bath - a lovely surprise! Good kitchen facilities and bed large and comfy, Jesmond Villas provides great value for a high standard of accommodation. The hotel is just near all facilities.Parking is so convenient.Hotel is so good.Very nice and clean and the set is excellent.Can not wait to go there again for a short stay.The staff so helpfull. The convenience of where they are situated. The cost of the apartments is very competitive. They are presented very well with their fixtures & fittings. Very roomy. Everything available to cater for a family or a couple. Close to large shopping centre. Nice and quiet. Aircon worked a treat. Large bathroom. It was not very close to city centre. That my stay wasn't longer!!. The shower in the bathroom dripped the whole time we were there and the stream/ pressure was not good. The beds being 2 singles pushed together was not enjoyed. Especially in the smaller room by the toilet as one was taller than the other. I felt the prices for the internet usage was very expensive. Most places these days have free wifi but the cost for one week there is similar to what I pay at home for one month!!!! That was my ONLY negative experience. I couldn't find a fault if I tried. It was perfect. Sound proofing of the apartment units is lacking slightly. Bedroom entirely internal, so very dark and cave like, needed to have lights on - however due to arrival / departure times, no great problem. I liked everything.No complain what so ever. They didn't offer the small shampoo, conditioner and body wash. They didn't offer a face washer. I was expecting these items and it made the stay a little uncomfortable to shower without them. Smaller pool than expected. Only soap provided. Could be a bot noisy with the wrong room (altho' not in our case.). I did not get told that I had to pay a $50 holding bond per night of our stay, which left me very short of money for our trip, and also 3 days later has not been reimbursed yet. Very poor communication! Had I have known I would have booked somewhere else where I didn't have to pay the holding bond!. A couple of smallish cockroaches wandering around. Gave them a shot of insect/fly spray which was provided. Parking. Way too cramped. Spa bath was unnecessary and made the bathroom incredibly small. A simple shower would have been better. The drive way damages average clearance cars on leaving. There are many Villa's on a small space, with narrow car access. It gives the impression of back packer accommodation. Not recommended for families. The sunken spa bath needs a shower screen or curtain so the bathroom doesn't flood if you use the shower. Also a rail to hold onto as you get in and out would be good. The sunken spa, as not so good for older people to get in and out of. The small shower with no surround, as thought water would spalsh everywhere. No hanging space for towels in bathroom. Staff on phone when we arrived and it took quite a while before we were attended to. Smoke alarm needed new battery; wondering if checked regularly. Bathroom had no where to hang towels, no shower curtain so water went everywhere. Spa placement dangerous. Stove top had grease on it. No natural ventilation. nil. Guest in vicinity of room were up late at night drinking and as I was ill they were extremely noisy up until 11pm but settled down thereafter. Paying for wi fi. As I was on crutches at the time, I found it very difficult to enter the bathroom, being only 40cm between the bed and the entrance, with a step also to get over made it very hard. Biscuit container could be bigger haha. if I had to say anything it would've been the pool beautiful setting but cold. There was a smell when i opened any of the cupboards. It was actually pretty yuk.. I had stuff in storage for 3yrs n the smell was a lil similar so maybe needs airing out n refreashed n cleaned. Nothing.... Nothing. small car parks some awkward to get in and out of. entry from main road but I can live with it as everything else is top notch. No remote for tv (people apparently like to take these??) also no remote for airconditioner but fortunately both these items are useable without remotes. could have been cleaner, floors with hair and fluff on them. difficulty parking in tiny spaces, TV in living area too high, no dish drainer, no dish washing cloth (sponge only). Reception not open in the morning before 8, not so practical for people on business trip (do not forget to pay and ask your invoice the day before you leave). pool was a bit noisey at night. Nothing to fault!!!!. Spa dirty & couldn't use for 2 days. Shower head not working had to report on first day. BBQ wasn't work & unable to use. Clothes line in bathroom broken. The floor in living area / kitchen was VERY slippery when you came back from the pool or out of the shower. My Son & Wife slipped over a number of times.
