The location is perfect, close to town but quiet, beautifully landscaped and very relaxing. The staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast was excellent and the room was comfortable with an outdoor seating area and a view of the lake. Even though it was 2Kms out town, it was close enough to walk to town and some of the wineries which was"nt a problem.It was peaceful being out of the town.Room was big.

Nothing - this hotel is wonderful value for the money and we would have liked to stay longer. It was advertised on letsbookhotel.com that breakfast was included with room, I assumed this was a full breakfast, as it is usually specified it is a continental.When I realised that we were given vouchers for a continental breakfast I brought it up with management and they said that this was breakfast, but they were kind enough to change our vouchers to full breakfast. So it should be clarified on the site that the room comes with a continental breakfast. We were on the ground floor which was good not having stairs but we would like to have a had a security screen door or at least a lockable screen door we could have let fresh air in during the nights. The cost of installing security screen doors would be offset by a reduction in air conditioner use. nothing. Thought the wine was a bit expensive. expensive awful dinner in restraurant, bathroom needs a lot of work, too much chlorine in spa my hubbies costumes went from blue to red and are now ruined, water cold in pool, broken switch for air con and tv. Only problem was the thin walls between rooms, meaning you could hear the neighbor's conversations and tv. Nothing. Cleanliness Price. The air conditioning was totally inadequate for the very hot day we arrived and took 3 hours to cool the room down to a reasonable temp making things very uncomfortable. The air con was preset making adjustments to suit the climate impossible. Only cups, saucers, and teaspoons were provided, in spite of a toaster. There was no microwave. A gap under the door allowed many light seeking insects into the room. The fridge was full of stuff they obviously were pushing (I don't like hard sells!). fly screen in lounge torn, fly screen in bathroom torn.fan in bathroom sooooo noisy and could hear the one in the room next to me. bath taps on bath continued after shower was running a health hazard. grouting in bathroom was peeling. asked for no blue vein cheese (highly allergic) could I have something else. a tiny sliver of Brie (?) was added and the bread/biscuits were stale.Submitted my concerns to management whose response was.... OH.
