Only stayed two nights with my partner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great facilities & very friendly staff. The very pleasant and helpful staff. The meals were excellent. The assistance provided in obtaining taxis. The rooms where a good size and very clean. It is probably the best bathroom i have ever seen. the quality of the furnishings in the rooms and a great bistro.

Size of room was great. Being over a pub we thought it would be noisy but it wasn't. Restaurant had nice food. It was all good pretty well really. Nice big room Spa great. Big rooms Comfy beds. Room was lovely. Good sized room. Quiet. simply basic. Lack of local information in the folder in the room. Would be good to have information on churches & locations, advice on laundry availability, local bus timetable. Fox tel access very limited. Didn't use the space bath as there was no grab rail for we oldies. The hotel downstairs is a little rough but other than that all was great. breakfast provisions a bit light on., bread half frozen in the freezer. The noise from function room. Door in first room not locking properly. The room on the highway as I am from the country with no road noise. There was a fight in the bar which was a bit untidy. Outside and hallway/adjoining room noise quite loud. Had to drive to shops, but a very small inconvenience. For a place that apparently has been recently renovated you wonder why there is paint coming off the wall , a fine crack across the roof and what looks like an ordinary tiling job in room 19. This is not meant to insult you just being constructive criticism. Impossible to get hold of staff Waited over 40 mins at counter each time including check in and check out. No one in sight. The price of an extra towel $30 , you would think u would get to take it home for that price. The bar downstairs. There was no one manning the desk to check in even after ringing the service bell. I had to call the hotel number. No balcony. Unattractive location. Outrageously expensive could obtain 3-4 4 star hotel in melb for the same price/cheaper. staff inattentive and painstakingly slow needed a compass to find reception reception unattended repeatedly even during opening hours. The continental breakfast provided was very disappointing . Two pieces of frozen bread and two packets of cereal .
