Comfortable, very quiet environment. I arrived in the rain - the Saturday receptionist lent me an umbrella for the duration of my stay. When I got sick, it was easy to extend my stay. The housekeeper made a point of asking if I needed anything. The Cafe situated at the front of the apartments is amazing, and the staff there are so friendly! The location of the apartments is so close to concert venues, factory outlet shopping and the city centre, we could walk to all 3! FREE PARKING!.
all reviews » They were very helpful in managing our arrival time (0100), the room was comfortable, clean, air-conditioned and great value. Very close to supermarket and 5 minutes from the railway station. Local restaurants and IGA closeby, air-conditioned room. Accommodation was like a small apartment and had a 50 inch led TV but I believe not all rooms have a TV this big. Friendly & helpful staff, room was a lot nicer then the ones in photos. Safe secure. Everything we needed, super comfy beds. Very nice, for cheap stay. TV remote buttons were not in English. A bit overpriced for a hotel not located in the centre of the CBD. tv antenna cable faulty toaster broken wifi did not work in our room. It is supposed to be be a serviced apartment, but it depends on the definition of serviced. We were there five nights and only had clean towels three timees. There is no servicing of the apartment. No cleaning, making beds etc,so if you know that then it is fine. no bath or big pots, small room. The room on the busy street, car parking way to small. banging doors. other guests seemed to love slamming doors at all hours. Older style, but no real complaints. Advertised as parking available and although free was limited, very crowded and difficult to access. Rooms, while clean and bed very comfortable and bathroom facilities good are basic and in need of updating. Our air conditioning unit was not working. It didn't matter to us so much as we were not necessarily going to use it but it could have made our stay uncomfortable if it was very hot or very cold. Also the kitchen cupboards were not clean. We actually had to ask the cleaner to wipe some spilt sauce off them. The staff member on reception when we arrived was not very helpful regarding a question about car hire. Poor sound proof. Dirty floor, shower in the bath tub, sleepy not good for children and eldly. Clearly an ageing apartment block. Shower in bath - need handrail for in & out. Missed an electric blanket. No tissues in the bathroom - noticeable because I had a cold. No Face washers or tea towels. Only two bath towels although there were four of us the children were free of charge so maybe thats why. The car parking was small and congested. - Internet connection is too slow. Unpleasant smell in foyer/entry area (not nice for first impressions) Carpet in the room could do with a thorough steam clean. (sticky..ugh!) Old television set. Poor picture. Internal noise, exit driveway too narrow when cars are parked. The wind caused some doors to rattle. It was quite a windy night outside. Could not have a shower in the morning as there was no hot water and I was disappointed with this. Parking facilities were shocking. Narrow access to street alongside carparks, not suitable for larger cars if they are busy. Bed bottom sheet dirty on first night. Room not hoovered for the whole week. Tea/coffee etc not replenished had to ask most days. Dirty mugs on arrival, no cloth in kitchen only small sponge. Hair on floor in bathroom. Very noisy neighbours at night and no one on duty. Bed not made every day and not made properly just thrown across. No towel rail only hooks on back of door. Room not cleaned and beds not made and discarded food in room. Cold shower in the morning . Obviously nobody had checked the room before handing over the key. Very tight car park, only for small cars. 'free wi-fi' too slow (really) air conditioning woefully inadequate v high step to shower - more than just handicap unfriendly. nothing to be memorable sorry. Room needs upgrading Chairs falling apart floor coverings need replacing Has not changer since we last visited 3 years ago. no hot water , had to have A cold shower on A winter morning will not refer motel as A place to stay.
