We stayed only 2 nights at 3 Explorers and had a really relaxing comfortable stopover, The room was well above our expectations, well equiped and furnished with excellent taste. The staff were great, friendly and able to give good acurate and uptodate information on local attractions. We enjoyed staying at 3 Explorers and would stay again Our daytime highlight was our trip to the Scenic Skyway etc where we spent a whole day for a reasonable dollar value.
all reviews » Very nice attention, the host was really helpful with everything we needed, and he was always worried about giving us the maximum comfort. The beds where very big, the room was completely well equipped with all kitchen staffs, and the location was very good. The wifi access was very good and the place clean. Also the rooms where well acclimated. I reallyrecomend it. The staff here are awesome.. Highly rated for cleanliness. Everything is easy and non-intrusive. Highly recommended! Great because you will be strolling distance from the magnifcent Blue Mountains, and also the always interesting short trip up to priceless Katoomba township... Book in here, no worries!! *). We stayed 2 nights in a luxurious 2-bedroom suite for our 38th wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were large and had lovely decor. No noisy traffic and easy parking. Tyhe host was very helpful and informative. We would definitely stay again. Thank your for the memories. We liked the staff, they were very friendly and suggested places for us to visit in a reasonable time. We also enjoyed the comfortable room. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom Suite with Spa, and the jacuzzi was very enjoyable. Overall this was a pleasant stay and we would recommend this to others again. 3 Explorers is very near to Echo Point and the 3 Sisters. Best scenic spots for photo taking. Reception staff is very friendly and advising us on where is the best place for Chinese Food. Canton Palace is really good. Salute!. The motel was location was great, walking distance to Echo point, opposite the Blue Mountains chocolate company, 5 minutes drive to the Katoomba shopping area. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable, even for my 2 toddlers. We were in one of the spa suites, and were very impressed with the decor, comfort and hygene. Chase and Natasha were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and exceedingly helpful with restaurant suggestions, etc. The location of the hotel is great for those who want to visit the Blue Mountains. great value for money. it was an old place but completely renovated. very clean. great location for our hiking expectations. Also had a fabulous restaurant nearby - Pins - and we ate there both nights we stayed. Mate Chase is a legend had best experience would recommend to the world and I am a bit of a bitch thanks for fine stay. A few minutes walk from Echo Point in Katoomba. You park and you walk to the many hiking trails from Echo Point. The managers were excellent and our welcome was excellent. Not a negative, but nice to have is some outdoor setup to keep little ones entertained. Difficult to find any fault - maybe a few more bowls,plates and basic cutlery for those who self catered for breakfast like us. I'm sure we could have asked for it though. Shame earlier feedback not listened to. Kettle, fridge and microwave, but only mugs and a teaspoon, so you cannot do your own breakfast or make a sandwich. This would improve the rating and the stay for the customer. Nothing. Nothing. The room as a bit small. Nothing. Bed was very firm. It rained!!!. Had to pay in full at time of booking which was over a month before we travelled to the Blue Mountains. A non refundable deposit should have been sufficient. Dreadful cold misty weather so we couldn't see nice views of Echo Point etc. Only one thing, pillows were a bit hard, but everything was super. Bathrooms outdated. Nil. Loved everything about it!. no designated parking bays. office not manned at all times during the day. Nothing really, though considering all the fresh bakeries around Katoomba, would have appreciated a toaster in the room. It would have been better if it were more soundproof (could hear TV from adjoining rooms). Although there is a microwave and kettle, there is no toaster or any cutlery or crocery. noisey. room 5 next to kitchen downstairs. water upstairs noisey, airconditioner system or whatever it was, outside bedroom window was noisey late into the night early morning. It is a reasonable three star Motel but they advertise it as a four star. Room was very small for 3 people. I would not stay their again. Internet wasn't working because of the storms. The toilet in the bathroom is terrible, i rent two bedroom, but it is actually one bedroom, the big bedroom is combined of kitchen and living room. Kitchen counter with no sink, one sofa that is small to sit and watch tv, and no closet for clothes.
