Attractive block with spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment within easy walk of Sandy Bay shops and restaurants. Pleasant walk or quick drive into Hobart waterfront area. Two teenagers were very happy with size of second bedroom, and main bedroom was good. Teens were hoping for Foxtel but being able to borrow DVDs from reception was great. Recently reonovated bathroom was excellent. Enjoyed our stay very much.

It was on a quiet residential street but only a couple of minutes walk from the shops and restaurants of Sandy Bay and within walking distance of Salamanca market and central Hobart. The staff were helpful, wi fi was included in the price as was the parking. good value for money. Loved the location - extremely easy to find your way around. Second bedroom had four beds in it but was very roomy. Beds were very comfortable - a big plus for me. Clean, comfortable, nice big modern bathroom, value for money. Could work to the shops & dinner if you wanted. Comfortable and fabulous location. Perfect for our family trip even though we were all adults we could all still stay together and share apartments. We were really happy with the place. The area is great - sandy bay. It was like being at home away from home. The bathroom was beautiful and modern and everything else very comfortable. That I only booked four nights when much more was needed. Tasmania is an amazing place. Being on the second floor the appartment was very dark -needed a light on day & night. No pepper & salt provided. Having to lug heavy luggage up stairs. early check out time (10am). internal concrete block walls, dated and worn tiling and doors in bathroom and kitchen, lack of sound proofing between rooms. No negatives. We would definately stay again. Leak in the bathroom and no drain in floor to let the water go. Noisy group of girls staying in rooms above and not a lot of consideration for others. Old bathroom but clean but I was staying in studio type room, Wifi is weak in my room. One fan to cool a 2-bedroom apartment wasn't enough, and one very hot night we were all awake all night as we couldn't keep cool. Would recommend a fan in each room. No lift, we are both in our late sixties and found it very difficult to get our luggage up all the stairs. lack of mirrors and clothes storage upstairs in cottage. Bathroom a little shabby, but clean. Bathroom needs attention. Old style accomodation Bathroom and kitchen need renovation. Décor was a bit tired. Crockery etc very light on and mugs too small for a decent cuppa. Not 4 star. property is old and damp reception closes at 5.30 makes it harder to get the DVD.
