Barbados was close to restaurants, the beach and it had a pool. The caretaker was very friendly and very helpful. It wasn't cramped so there wasn't too many other people accessing facilities like the pool when we were. It was off the main road so it was quiet. -

Coolangatta hasn't got the buzz of Surfers Paradise, but it's a
much more attractive place with wonderful walks in all directions. Ocean
Plaza is wonderfully located close to three wonderful patrolled beaches.
It was nice to be able to exit the complex straight into the Showcase
shops, which next year will feature a Woolworths supermarket right at
this doorstep.

This location is very convenient for access to the mall at Broadbeach. We have stayed here about 6 times for the music festival and have enjoyed our stay each time. The decor and room arrangement in each unit is different. The units are older but some units have been renovated. We would recommend asking for ocean view and 5th level or higher. -
